Shigaraki grabs the nearest liquor bottle in his hand. He lets it slip from his grasp when he hurls it into the centrepiece of the bar into the remaining exclusive golden bottles. They crash down in a pandemonium of piercing shards. "The Hero Killer Stain," his jaw clenches, his teeth grind together. His neck is red raw with skin peeled off. It bleeds lightly from scratch wounds. His scratches are soft but prolonged brute force wins. "Didn't I tell you all he was useless?!"
"It does seem that way," Toga sighs, staring at the TV with disappointment. Nothing but anger in her heart that her crush was such a failure. "He was taken down by a couple of high school kids,"
"According to reports. But I don't believe that," Dabi frowns. "The missing kids were heroes in training. I wouldn't be surprised if someone kidnapped them. I wouldn't be surprised if the pros think we're the ones behind this. Even thinking we kidnapped them,"
"True, there isn't even a claim or ransom released for them yet," Shigaraki begrudgingly agrees. He hates agreeing with Dabi but when he's right he's right. He does have that perfect streak of logic devoid of emotional corruption. Shigaraki hates it but admits it's admirable. "We could use this in our favour,"
"How exactly?" Toga asks curiously. Her crush is gone. He was a major disappointment. Who will prove to be worthy of her love now? Shigaraki is looking like quite the promising candidate.
"We take credit for the kidnapping," Shigaraki states with pride. "The panic we cause will be immeasurable! And nobody will trust All Might anymore if two UA students were kidnapped from right under his nose!"
"That's..." Dabi considers. His expression doesn't change. "Actually a very good idea,"
"Do I sound like I want your approval?" Shigaraki sneers.
"Well yeah. Kinda," Dabi shrugs.
Toga squeals in excitement. Not only is she super excited for this plan but this is the first non-negative (but not really positive either) interaction the two stubborn villains have had. Maybe she should reconsider her crush on Shigaraki she thinks, if there's love brewing. And it might be. She knows Shigaraki is a huge flamer but Dabi? He acts straighter than half the straight people she knows. Which isn't many but still.
"Sooo you two should go make the announcement!"
"Why both of us?" Dabi wrinkles his nose, looking over at that irritating brat. No, not Toga. She is tolerable, Shigaraki is not.
"Because it was Shigaraki's idea but he needs backup. And the media doesn't know about me yet so I should stay behind," more flawless logic. The girl is smarter than she lets on.
"Fine," the blue haired man slides from his seat. He's wearing the hand but it something still shows his irritation. "Dabi, shall we?"
"Fine" he mimics unintentionally and they ascend to the world of society.

Toshinori sits on the couch with is knees hugged tightly to his chest. Back and forth he rocks, biting his lip in worry. Young Midoriya... where are you? What happened? he squeezes the tears from his eyes. He can't cry yet, not until he knows there's something to cry about.
The door bangs open. Naomasa runs through, his hair tousled from stress and his tie askew. Seeing him this underdressed in Toshinori's equivalent to seeing his husband naked. "Any news?" he asks immediately.
"Yes," Naomasa pants, face flushed. He ran all the way here. He gasps to catch his breath a few times. Hoarse wheezing following. "But you're not gonna like it. You should sit down,"
