Shigaraki rubs his hands together with wicked glee. The city in chaos, All Might distraught. The UA school grounds swarmed with journalists and condemned in the court of public opinion. After announcing the kidnapping of Tenya Iida and Izuku Midoriya on national news (especially with Ida severally injured and in a wheelchair), faith was lost in the pro hero industry and especially in All Might. The public are terrified. The villains have become an omnipotent force in the world now.

"We've won..." he states to himself, voice in awe of his own infinite wisdom.

"I must admit, I'm impressed," Dabi smirks, leaning back on the bar and reaching down to Shigaraki's hair. The strands are thick and unwashed but he plays with them anyway, spinning them around his finger into ringlets. They keep the form even when he lets them go. Such thick hair. "Since you're such a master strategist, what now?"

"Aww, it's so cute that you trust him!" Toga squeals. Shigaraki is Dabi's new Stain

The leader of the League has the hand over his face, concealing his expression of concentration. "This is the time to attack. They're at their most vulnerable, there's so much press to divert their attention and weaken their defences... it's the perfect time to slip in with a warp. Even if we cannot penetrate the building itself, we can still get the Nomu to the grounds. And to All Might..."

"Wait, attack the school?!" Izuku asks from his spot on the barstool by the pool table.

"Yes," Shigaraki turns to him, a grin of pure glee, but there's something sadistic in his tone. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"I-" Izauku pauses, looking over at Iida. "No, I don't,"

"What?! You can't be serious, Izuku!" Iida stares at the boy he thought he knew with horrified shock. "We aren't okay with this! You can't attack a school, attack children!" Stain would have never allowed that, he finds himself thinking. "Do you have no morals?!"

Laughing, Shigaraki extends his arms to drape over himself, gesturing wildly to this underground lair. "Is that not obvious?!"

That night, once in their room away from the villains, Iida confronts Izuku. "You have to stop them from attacking the school. I'm useless in this chair," he stares down at his leg with frustrated judgement. Shaming the feckless limb and himself for being injured and useless at this critical time.

Izuku meanwhile, is getting ready for a job with the League. Nothing special, a terror attack on the Shinto region to boast the League's reach with the warp gate. Showing off how far they can go, how widespread their destruction is. He stares at himself in the mirror, forcing the light out his eyes. They become hollow, he cripples under the pressure of his personality. In this silk tie and red shirt he is no longer a person, but a villain. Humanity no longer exists.

Izuku turns to his boyfriend with a sad smile. "I'll try my best," something he can promise at the very least.

The next day, the League of Villains advances on the school, the warp gate smouldering by the front door. Behind an ability forcefield preventing it from being seen. The powerful villains protecting themselves from the eyes of probing staff members, the school security and the press. All they must do is wait for an opening. Or force one.

Izuku clutches his throat, the fluttering muscles unable to move. Shigaraki wraps his arm around Izuku's shoulders, bringing him in close. Those 4 fingers places against his trachea. "Are you ready my young hero?" he cackles quietly, deep in Izuku's ear.

Izuku squirms away from him, disgust overcoming his fear for a second. The repugnant villain's eyes are lost in madness. The attack begins.

Villains converge upon the school. A crescendo of carnage in the pandemonium of lightning strikes and falling debris. This is madness without method. Violence without strategy. Shigaraki, Dabi and Izuku intend to watch the debacle from safety. Only intervening when the time comes.
