Our plane just arrived to New York. We got down so we could reach to our luggage. As we received our stuff, we headed towards the train station, and we waited almost half an hour untill our train arrived. As it stopped we got up to the almost empty train.
-Girls, sit down there! - my mother pointed to a four-person seat. I sat by the window, Scarlett sat in front of me, and Mom sat next to Scarlett. The train started off. It was a boring trip, I just looked out the window and thought. I tried to draw inspiration for a new drawing. I sat in silence and watched the landscape passing by. So we arrived slowly. We got off the train and then headed for the house.
- That's....beautiful. - I stopped with an open mouth in front of the house. It's a two-story modern building, that was painted white on the outside...and I haven't looked into the house yet.
- Wow! - my little sister next to me also marveled at our new house.
- That's what I said when I first saw it. - my mom laughed with me. She took out the keys so she could steer us inward. It was a great relief for me to move from that small house to a bigger one, but I never dreamed it would be so much bigger. A wide staircase led upstairs. When I got to the top, I saw three doors, one was the bathroom and the other two were bedrooms. The clothes we brought, we unpacked and since it was about 10pm by the time we were done with everything, we had dinner and went to bed. Of course, I was still up for a little while and discovered that my closet is also quite big, so I can easily fit in there, at least that's what I thought.
- Uh, I'm almost in. - I tried to squeeze myself in there. Don't ask me, I don't know why I wanted to get in there either.
- Ouch, I'm stuck! HEEELP!!!- I shouted to myself laughing. A few minutes later I managed to get out, but unfortunately I tripped over NOTHING... I repeat: in NOTHING and fell on my face. After these hours full of wonderful experiences, I managed to fall asleep. I don't know why, but it's cold and I woke up to the cool wind hitting my face. I looked at the clock and it's five in the morning. I crawled out of bed and closed the window, but the wind was still blowing in the room. I looked around, but all the windows were closed... it was because as soon as I started walking towards the bed, one opened, I closed it again.
- Okay, I must be hallucinating, I'd rather go back to sleep - so I did.
The next morning I got up and headed to the small bathroom in my room. I brushed my teeth and face, combed my hair and put a little makeup on my face. It consisted of lip gloss and mascara. After that, I got dressed, I put on red stretch pants, a white T-shirt and a denim jacket. I ran down the stairs straight into the kitchen. I made myself a salami sandwich for breakfast and a little latte with it, just to wake up for today's packing. After I ate all of this, the truck arrived.
- Melissa, come help me please! - Mom said to me as she ran down the stairs, out the front door, and out the gate. I followed him and started carrying the smaller boxes into the hall. We were ready with bring in the boxes, and then we started sorting
- Let start with this small one - I grabbed a smaller box with my name written on it, which meant that the box contained my things.- Oh, wait, that's mine! Then I'll put it here with my boxes.
- Sweetie, I think today we should just sort and take the boxes to the rooms.
- All right, mom! SCARLETT!!! - I shouted to my sister, who came donw for this.
- Yes?
- Be so kind as to help me carry the boxes up - - I grabbed a bigger one and took it up to my room. I continued like this until I ran out of boxes, and then I started carrying Scarlett'S up, which she helped with. We did this until it got dark and we ran out of carry-on boxes. We had dinner and I went to shower and brush my teeth. I got into my nice soft bed and was about to sleep when my mother opened the door with my schedule and a bag full of books.
- Here are your things for tomorrow. I took it out of one of your boxes, I'll just put it down and go.
- All right. - She did as he said. She put the bag next to my bed, along with the schedule, and went out. I closed my eyes and fell asleep...
