Melissa Summers is a 17 year old, not very average girl, who started her 11th grade at LaGuardia High School. Melissa is an American girl who recently moved to New York with her family, originally of Hungarian descent, just Melissa's mother married an American man and changed her name, but the children do not speak Hungarian because Melissa and Scarlett (her little sister) go to American school.
Before school, however, Melissa's mother gave to her an old, shabby, weird-looking diary as a gift, which she bought in a small boutique with an old yet modern structure, with the aim of allowing her daughter to write into any little story, be it a good or bad experience, and even draw into it. But this diary is not a booklet made of leather, average paper, but something completely different....
