"time to watch dora the explorer!!!!!!!" chen cheered as he saw nines car approach him. and as he said he was in time
or well chen had been waiting for about 10 minutes cause he truly was scared nine would leave without him and he absolutely didn't want that.
he also wanted to prove him that he always was in time although he actually is EARLY to everything to pretend like he's in time all the time.

nine still wasn't sure why chen found dora the explorer so much fun to watch, didn't everyone watch that when they were in like ... third grade?

"why do they have to have so long advertisements " chen sighed
both had a seat next to eachother on the middle row, the cinema was pretty empty except some kids with their parents . and for nine, that was EXTREMEY embarrassing. two grown up teenagers were watching dora the explorer? can it get more embarrassing??
but how could nine say no? a part of him wanted to say no but the other part felt bad that no one wanted to go with him and he seemed like he really wanted to watch it. you could see that because as soon as the movie started some small giggles left his mouth.
nine glanced at him and unconsciously smiled at him. as soon as nine realised it he turned his head away trying to figure out why how and when that happened.
"p'..." chen whispered to not disturb the others in the cinema watching the movie.
"hm?"
"want some popcorn? " he smiled and moved the popcorn bowl to him.
without saying anything nine grabbed a hand full of popcorn and ate it. even if he didn't enjoy the movie at least he could eat popcorn.
