the whole day chen kept his distance from nine thinking that's what he wanted while he was thinking of what to do.
but nine didn't feel like that at all. it became empty without talking to him, nine wanted him to be there next to him as always. how else would he know if he liked him back if he wasn't there to make him skip a beat again?
or was this the sign? feeling like this when he's not here .
it was one day left of the party week and everyone were drinking heavily again, this time ben managed to get earth drink much as well and everything ended with passed out boys again.

and nine
chen didn't drink because he didn't felt like it, but he also hoped he'd get to talk to nine alone this time without any interruption.
"i'll take earth, you can take big boy ben" nine said and went straight to pick up small earth from the floor.
after getting everyone to bed they could breathe out.
"uhhm....." nine wanted to say something but it was hard to do it without interrupting himself with "uhhh" 's
"hm?"

"i uhhhh....might...ehh.. like you back.." nines face went red of embarrassment. but chen's face lit up, he didn't get rejected!!!
"really?!!" chen cheered.
"shhhh! not so loud!"
chen laughed and hugged the boy he likes the most .
nine didn't notice when he hugged back and how tight he hugged him. it's like he has two layers but the second one is slowly coming out.
and with that the boys went to sleep but the morning came sooner than they thought.
chen didn't really ask nine to be his boyfriend, he totally forgot about it but saying they both like each other is enough? or do they need to CONFIRM it.
the sober ones woke up first, chen and nine.
so they both made breakfast together as a couple . nine still didn't know how to act but he laughed and blushed every now and then.
especially when chen went behind him and put his arms around his waist to show him how to cut the onions.
nine felt what people describe as butterflies
"y'all having fun without us" pavel came in the kitchen followed by the others who were still half asleep.
"what's fun in making breakfast?" nine said putting plates on the table. chen doesn't think nine wanna tell them yet. but he expected that, nine is hard to handle but not too hard for chen to handle.
"beeen~ why'd you make me drink so much" earth complained.
ben laughed.
"you seemed to enjoy it though"
everyone sat down eating and by 8pm earth and ben left. an hour later chen and nine left together.
"bye! thank you for inviting me!" chen thanked.
by this week he's become incredibly close to dome & pavel, as well as nine. after months of talking on the phone and a few meetings they finally confessed.
"i'll see you later" chen said and opened the door to nines car that was parked outside chen's house.
"wait-" nine hurried to say before chen left.
"hm?"
"uhhh... call me before you go to sleep" he said
chen felt happy but still confused .
"why p' ?"
"it doesn't matter " nine closed chen's door in embarrassment regretting what he said but chen laughs and yelled:
"i will call you!!!" as he waved at nines car disappearing from sight.
