*Oscar's POV

"You sitting up there looking like a fine ass hyna." I smirked knowing that it was going to piss her off because I called her that. But I wasn't lying. She did look good. Her hair was down and she was wearing a black long sleeve with some ripped jeans.

I was on my way to grab a few beers down at the bodega when I noticed Rosie sitting on the hood of the Impala looking like she was reading something.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that, Spooky?" She closed the book and set a pen down. "You look good today," she looked me up and down. "Adonde vas? Gonna go see one of your other hynas?" She raised an eyebrow laughing.

She rolled her eyes. "Are you inviting me to the party or are you inviting me so that I can count the money?"

"Well that too." I answered making her laugh.

"I'll think about it."

"Quieres algo de comer?" My mom asked from the stove. "I'm making some sopa."

I sat down at the table and opened back up my notebook. "Sure." I answered picking up my pen.

"We go live now to Maria Sanchez with an update on the Freeridge robbery," the man on the radio announced.

"Súbele por favor," My mom turned up the volume of the radio.

"Police have tracked down a stolen and abandoned vehicle used by the bank robbers. The LAPD is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects, who are stil-"
