Error POV
Ink went out to steal today so I told her I'd watch Gradient. I didn't like watching him alone.
"The fuck at I supposed to do with this?" I asked Killer.
"How the hell should I know I'm a murderer not a babysitter." He replied.
"Fuck." Gradient said.
Killer started howling with laughter.
"Shhhh.... don't say that to mommy." I told him.
Killer left and I spent the day just sitting there watching the baby crawl around. Ink came back and jumped on me. I smiled and hugged her.
"Gradient said his first word today." I told her.
Her eyes lit up with excitement.
"What'd he say!?" She asked.
Gradient was napping by us and I didn't wanna lie.
"Uh... you'll see when he wakes up." I said.
She kissed my cheek and picked up Gradient being careful not to wake him. I smiled and held my wife and my son. Both of them were tiny.
Ink POV
A few days had passed and I still haven't heard Gradient speak. I put him ont the floor and laid on my stomach in front of him.
"Can you say mummy?" I requested.
"Mumumum" he mumbled.
I chuckled. He's so cute! It may not seem like it because of the way I am with others but I am quite good at taking care of children.
"Fuck." Gradient said.
I smiled and started laughing. I know that isn't a appropriate response but now we definitely know he's mine and Error's son.
Dream and Blue came over and weren't exactly thrilled at my baby's word but I was just happy he could talk.
