"So what's your schedule looking like then? What days will you be gone?" Noah takes a bite from the sandwich I made him. We're in the east garden of the pack sitting on the picnic blanket. So far with the way my schedule is looking this will be our only time having an official date with each other for the next month.
"Well I was supposed to leave tomorrow to head to Alpha Leo's pack but since Jace is here with his little family I will probably go the day or 2 after."
"Wow to get to Alpha Leo's pack that is a pretty long drive. 6 hours. Or is it 8?"
"yea its 8. I am going to be very upset in that car ride, but Grayson was saying for me to take the ride back with Jace and stay in his pack for the rest of the day since I haven't been there since I was what...9 years old? Then whenever I was ready to get back on the road be driven the rest of the way to Alpha Leo's pack."
"Wow. Well I hope you choose to take a break and stay at Jace pack. I think it'll be best. You will have a nice comfy bed to sleep in and some good foods instead of that stop and eat places that you smell gasoline once you exit the place." I laugh at what he just said because I have complained multiple times of that happening.
"Then after Alpha Leo I'll get brought back to Jace, this time it is not a choice and I'll have a plane ticket purchased and go from Jace pack to Canada. To meet a new-ish Alpha. He wants to talk about a problem between his pack and..." I felt eyes on me but they weren't Noah's because he was too busy looking through the picnic basket. I look over at the direction that takes us back to the Castle. I felt the need to walk in that direction for some reason.
"Olivia you okay?" I shake my head as I look at his eyes.
"I have to go inside. I think Grayson needs me." I lied.
"Mind link?" I just nod my head, lying once again. I knew so much about him and some days I felt like he didn't know much about me. My ability to do mind links with anyone was broken. I had lost it about 2 years ago. No one really knows why. But I haven't told Noah that. Not yet anyways.
"I'll be right back." I stand and pat my dress down.
"Ok. I'll be here waiting." I give him a kiss on his cheek.
"I won't be too long, don't worry."
I make my way through the familiar trail. I was so close to the Castle until for some unknown reason I felt the need to walk in a different direction. So I did. Eventually I realized I was making my way to the lake. In a few more steps the trees would clear up and I would see exactly what was pulling me this way.
I hear coughing. A sick kind of coughing.
"Oh my moon goddess. You're coughing blood." I approach the sound to see Aspyn and an unknown man on the ground. The man was indeed coughing blood.
"Aspyn? Whats happening?" I run up to the man and grab his arm, raising him up. "Aspyn grab his arm, he's kind of heavy. Sir, we're going to take you to the clinic."
Aspyn didn't move and the man placed some more of his weight on me as he tried to wipe the blood from his mouth.
"I thought you were with Noah on the east side of the pack having a lunch date. Why are you here?" I shrug my shoulders.
"I just had this feeling. Come on Aspyn let's get him to the clinic."
"No." His voice sounded so familiar. Yet I felt like I have only heard it in my dreams. His eyes open to reveal an all too familiar hazel looking color. "I feel better now. I'll be fine, thank you princess. You may go back to your date."
