Ch.2 "Change is coming"

after doing my errands for father, the walk to the graveyard was quiet reliving my punishment was bad I also got locked in the freezer for twenty minutes but it felt like hours I looked at my arm and see the bruising forming I'm sure my cheek is pretty bad too, I thought 

I close my eyes reliving it, as soon as he shut the top of the freezer locking me in pitch blackness, my panic attack started as I clawed at the inside of the lid I tried to put up my front for when I do reach Isaac but I feel the tears rolling down my cheeks as soon as he dismissed me I just sprinted out of the house I have the hood of my hoodie up and my hands in my pockets,

Isaac must be full of worry since dad forced him out of the house, if he would have stayed he would have been in the freezer with me, I thought 

I pushed open the gate of the graveyard headed straight to the back of the property Isaac's bike is discarded on the side of the main office building only one light is on inside where I can see Mr. Norris, he may own this place but for some unknown reason he put dad in charge just another thing for him to control,I wipe my tears away with the sleeve of my hoodie

I see that the backhoe is tipped over and Isaac is standing there in a daze,

"Isaac? what happened?" I asked looking around 

He turned around "Nothing just a accident are you okay?" He asked looking at me worried 

I nodded not looking up 

"Alice look at me," Isaac said 

I slowly lift my head He gasps 

"It's always the same," I said looking up at him 

I feel Isaac touch my cheek and lip then he hugged me "I'm so sorry" He said that's when my tough girl act broke and I clutched onto Isaac's jacket crying as he was kneeling down to my level 

"Don't worry Alice things are going to change soon, I can't explain it but good change is soon going to come our way I promise," Isaac said 

"I hope you're right," I said not so convinced
