[Light's POV]

I wandered around the cave, I watch as Robin and Aqualad training, SuperBoy sitting on the couch constantly staring at the static TV isn't weird gives me weird vibes. M'gann cooking some cookies, with Wally and Artemis in the kitchen. 

My stomach grumbled loudly but quickly decreased. 

Black Canary walked in as I was just about to get back to the med bay, I hope she didn't hear my stomach grumbling. I am sooooo craving for raw meat right now. 

She grabbed my shoulder stopping me from walking. 

I needed to have permission anyways to go outside to hunt. I fiddled with my thumbs. "Can I go hunt, with you?" 

"What do you mean? You have training today with me and its mandatory." 

"Oh.. ok.." 

"Is that a problem?" 

Yes it's a massive problem. Shut up Shadow. I didn't notice myself hitting my head until I got tackled down on to my back. 

I was speechless. 

"What was that for?" 

"You're slow, you lost focus." 

I looked at Black Canary like she has gone nuts or something. "But we weren't even sparring." 

"You didn't hear. You are training with me." 

"Oh.." 

Stupid idiot. SHUT THE HECK UP SHADOW. I again mentally said and physically said that out loud. The team looked back and stared at me. Attention all on me. I gulped my throat feeling dry. 

Black Canary stared at me. I walked off, trying to refresh my mind. 

"Where do you think you are going, Light?" She asked firmly.

"Outside. Fresh Air." I said. 

Finally alone time, time to have your daily beatings. Shadow talked to me in his form where I only can see him. 

"No! I had enough! I'm not your puppet." I shouted to him.

Yes you are, you aren't able to stop me. You are weak, pathetic, you're not good enough to beat me. Being the waste of space you are, you know and you tried nothing is going to stop me. 

"SHUT UP!" I repeated more than four to five times. 

I told you so you're not good enough, you just going to wail like a toddler for help. No one is going to help you, they abandoned you, they turned your backs against you. Every time you protect they hurt you. You're not a hero you're a KILLER. 

Tears started streaming out. 

[Black Canary/Mom's POV]

I see her run outside towards the balcony of the cave, which reveals like a secret sanctuary towards the forest. I stand just right behind her, my daughter starts talking to herself someone. 

"No! I had enough! I'm not your puppet." She shouted to thin air. "SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP." She shouts clutching her head. Tears streaming down her face. 

She starts singing. 

[Light's POV]

'Don't tell me I'm not good enough!'

'Times like this, I wish I never existed'
'Nobody wants to listen'
'I'm screaming out for help'
'Times like this, I wish that I could let go'
'And open up a window, free to be myself'
