Chapter 5

Dani's POV

*years in the future*

I can't quite believe I found my notebook from back when I was 14, I'm 20 now.

Christina married Nick and moved out, Katherine also married and moved out with a man called Johnnie who is really nice and perfect for her. Lisa is engaged to a man called Harry again perfect and kind she's soon moving out, Amy has a boyfriend called Jake who is just like that perfect country boy she dreamed of. and me, well I've got a boyfriend called Thomas he's really sweet. I'm completely and utterly clean

*years earlier*

there was a razor, somebody left it out, no Dani you haven't for 2 months you can stop yourself now.

I took hold of the razor with a shaky hand and slid down the wall and began crying on the floor

then the door opened yet again I forget to lock it, Amy looked shocked

"Dani, you haven't! have you?" she said running up to me and hugging me

"no I was trying to fight it but it was hard" I cried and she hugged me tighter

"don't worry we'll keep helping you but I think we'll have to tell mom and dad"

"fine but I don't think they'll react well"

"they can help you Dani"

I had therapy once a week for a few months after that but it did help I guess. anyway this is what happen mine and my sisters band.

*after Lauren's accident*

"girls as you know we can't continue the band like this so I decided we'll do a live chat to tell the the CimFam everything, be nice to each other for just a bit" Christina said, we nodded and started setting it up.

Christina sat in front of the computer and told me to sit next to her then Lisa sat next to me then Amy and Katherine stood at the back even though it still felt awkward.

I tweeted the link on our band account and soon there was a few hundred views. on the live stream you could comment so there was a lot of comments about where Lauren was already.

"hi guys" we all said

"Well we have something to tell you" Christina said

"firstly Lauren isn't here because she was in a c-car accident and err didn't make it" Lisa said in tears.

"and it's Dani's fault" Amy muttered so that everyone watching didn't know what she was saying, Lisa hit her not to hard but she shut up. Christina glared at her and mouthed "don't you dare start" I just stayed quiet, oh gosh the fans probably saw everything.

"Anyway, this caused Amy and Katherine to be annoyed with Dani as Lauren trying to stop her running off which Dani doesn't want to explain, Anyway we can't continue the band like this but we will always remember you guys. We promise" .

"Bye" Katherine, Amy, Christina and Lisa said, I stayed silent looking down at the floor, maybe it is my fault.

I had just woke up, I rolled over and almost fell out.

"Morning Dan" my Dad said passing my room

"Morning" I muttered, I looked over, Lisa was still sleeping in her bed.

Then my phone went off, it was a message from Angela, Lauren's best friend, we are quite close now but not as close as either of us were to Lauren. It helps to talk when we miss Lauren or just want to talk about memories with her.

"Hey Dani, I'm going to be in Malibu for a few weeks as I'm staying with my Auntie, I'm on my way now, wanna hang out later? xx"

"Yeah sure I'd love to xx"

I was excited to see Angela, I haven't since Christmas and it's summer.

August the 6th to be precise, Lauren died 6 years ago tomorrow, it's gonna be a tough day. It's also 6 days till Christina and Lauren's birthday, it hurts to know she died less than a week before her birthday.

*later on*

It's 9:30 in the evening

I was at the park with Angela, Amy and Lisa. We sat on the climbing frame talking every so often

"So it's the 7th tomorrow" Amy sighed

"Ugh I'm fed up of it being a sad day, can't we have a barbecue or something? Those were the times when we had barbecues all our friends and family came over and had fun, Lauren won't be there but we can make it a time to remember the fun and good times with her." I said honestly speaking my mind

"That's a great idea Dani!" Angela said, Lisa and Amy nodded. I smiled, the silence surround us again but it was no longer awkward it was calm and relaxing. Maybe a little too relaxing for Lisa and Amy as after a few minuets they both yawned at the same time. We all laughed. Lisa pulled Amy close to her and Amy rested her head on Lisa's shoulder closing her eyes smiling. Angela did the same to me, she was a little shorter as I'm tall for my age but I was a bit younger she was 23 nearly 24.

"I should go it's getting late, I promised Christina (her twin) we would walked movies on Netflix tonight" Angela said, we all jumped down and hugged Angela. It was quiet, no one else was her.

"See you soon" I said

"Yeah see you" she hugged me "I promise I'll come see you guys tomorrow no matter what it takes" she says hugging Lise and Ames.

Angela walked off in the other direction, Lisa put her arm around my shoulder, Amy put hers around my waist, I don't think it helped wearing a few inches tall shoes, I put mine around their shoulders and we walked home.
