Jane's Pov
(At the dance)
"Hey I'll be right back, I'll go get us some punch!" Grayson says walking away.
"Omg Jane you look stunning!" Dani says, while pulling Jason along by his hand.
Dani looked gorgeous, she was wearing a long staples mint green dress, that was super pretty. I have to say that Jason looks good in a suit also.
"Where's Grayson?" Dani asks
"Oh he went to go get some punch" I say a tad bit way to enthusiastic.
"What's going on? Is he being a douche?" Dani asks
"What! No No, he's been a gentlemen, surprisingly. it's kind of weird." I say, while thinking back, to what Grayson and I did in my kitchen right before the dance.
"Speaking of the devil" Jason says, directing his attention, towards Grayson, who is now standing by my side.
"Punch?" he asks me, hanging me a cup.
"Thanks." I say dryly.
I take a big sip of the punch, only to notice the strong taste of vodka as I swallow the punch.
"Damn I think someone spiked the punch more than once." I say
"I agree. So what are you to up to?" Grayson asks Jason and Dani.
"Just about to go dance. Shall we?" Jason asks Dani.
"We shall, have fun you two." Dani says, while making her way to the dance floor with Jason.
Which leaves me alone with Grayson, yet again.
The song 'To Make You Feel My love' by Adele, starts to play.
"Do you want to dance with me?" Grayson asks, while extending his hand towards mine.
"Sure, I would love to." I say blushing.
I grab his hand, as we make our way to the center of the dance floor.
We face each other, he places both of his hands around my waist, while I place my hands around the back of his neck.
I love this song, even though it's older, it really is a beautiful song.
Midway through the song, I rest my head on Grayson's shoulder, as we sway side to side slowly, close together, so close that I can feel his heartbeat.
I wish I could stay in this moment forever.
