Chapter 13: I Only Like Tofu

"So were are you taking me" I asks curiously. To be honest  I could care less, I just really want food, even if it's just a big mac, I don't care!

"One of my favorite places" He says smiling while driving.

"It does involve food though right? Because I'm starving!" I ask desperately.

"Calm down, yes it does involve food I promise, I'd never lie about food, I'd be pissed if someone did that too me" He chuckles.

I feel warmth on my thigh. It's Graysons hand. I try hard not to blush, but I fail hard.

We arrive to the place all too soon, I would've been fine just drving longer, it was peacefull, and I guess you could say having his hand on my thigh while he drove wasn't all that bad either.

We pull up to a pizzaria, called Ni Marcos, I've never even heard of it. Inside was full of ganster poster, like the Godfather, Scareface, and a few more that I didn't recognize. I already loved the place.

"Are you a meat kind of girl?" Grayson asks while we wait in line to order some pizza.

"No I only like tofu." I say joking, his face almost drops.

"I'm kidding, of course I love protein! Did you actually believe me? I was eating a turkey sandwich at lunch" I say laughing. He smiles and scratches his head, in disbelief that he fell for that.

"What type of pizza can I get for you two?" The lady asks behind the register.

"Uhh....." I look at grayson.

"Pepporoni with bacon please" He says.

"Is that okay?" he looks at me for approval.

"Hell yes!" I say happily, my mouth nearly waters at the thought of pepperoni bacon pizza.

After he pays for the pizza, he hands me a drink cup, we get our drinks and then go have a seat at a booth.

"So how was your day" He asks while sipping on his drink.

"It was eventful and full of surprises" I say smiling.

"Why's that?"

"Well lets just say, some semi decent looking guy surprised me today by taking me out for pizza after school. Oh and the best part is that he knew my favorite type of pizza!" I can't help but chuckle.

"Woah, only semi decent looking? Psh this guy sounds hot, I'd even date him." Grayson says with a cocky smirk.

"I bet you would."

We lock eyes, and  holy hell are his beautiful or what, it's like I'm looking into the deep blue ocean.

"I have your peperoni bacon pizza" a girl says making us snap out of our trance.

"Thank you!" Grayson says

"Can I have some ranch please" I ask before she walks away

After the ranch gets to our table, we begin to pig out, and oh god is this pizza good or what! It looks just like the cartoon pizza that i always dreamed of!

"So what really made you want to take me out today?" I asked after finishing my first slice of pizza.

"I was hungry and I thought you might be hungry too.."

I give him the 'I call bullshit' look.

He sighs and finally says, "Fine, just don't look at me with those eyes. I decided to take you out because, well why not? We've been having a good time these past few times. Well I have anyways. So.... I just said fuck it." He states.

"I've been having a great time, I mean it." I say blushing not wanting to look at his eyes.

"Are you lying?" He says taking another slice of pizza.

"I don't know you tell me, unless you happen to have a micro lying detector hidden somewhere." I giggle.

He pretends to check his pockets, "Hmmm I must've lost it." He says smiling.

"Well that's a shame. I guess you'll never know for sure then."

"I think I know the answer" he says standing up and comes and sits by me.

"Are you sure about that now" I ask, his face moving closer and closer to mine.

"Positive" he says a second before our lips clash together. Chills go all over my body, I feel warm.

He pulls away first, descretly wiping his lips, and smirking. Me on the other hand knew that my face was all red, I could feel it in.

"So my brother and I are heading to the redwoods this weekend, we're going to camp out,  I'm pretty sure Dani is coming with, do you want to come?"

"I'd love too, as long as you have bug spray, cause I hate bugs especially mosquito's!"

"I'll pack extra just for you" He says pecking my cheek.

Once Grayson dropped me off at home, the first thing I did was call Dani, and told he everything that happened. The first question she asked me was, "are you two dating officially yet?" And that's a really good question, I haven't even asked myself. Are we? I don't know, I mean I know that we're than just friends, but is he my boyfriend. Great not I'm curious. Dani convinces me to just wait until this weekend and just see how it goes, and then ask him about it if it feels right. I agreed, desperately wanting Friday to be here already.
