Jayce paced across the meeting room. " He did what again to cause this bruise?!" He asked. Hatred laced his voice as he held her arm and gently as he could. While in his current mood that wasn't very gentle.

Axton slapped his hand away from Mika who was just wincing at Jayce. " Dude. Calm the fuck down. She's already terrified, the bastard hurt her, and tried to get her outside. "

" She shouldn't have went that far as it is! What if he actually physically took her out there?" He asked seething. " I could have never seen her again. None of us would have! "

Axton balled his hands into fists. " Jayce. I know I've said it before and not meant it, but I'm fixing to beat you into the ground. " his normally perky exterior was gone. Replaced with a scary looking devil. " She threatened him. Something about a scar she gave him. Take the time to talk with her. Not yell at her.

" She was looking for us. Her mind link probably wouldn't have worked either. We were all drinking a little. " Jason said butting in.

" I saw her as well. She was just talking, and her instincts kicked in. Something scared her. " Sike agreed.

Jayce ran his hand down his face trying to calm down. " I.. just can't lose her. I don't want to think about what I would do.... Darius huh?" He stood next to Mika, and pulled her close. After taking a few deep breaths he sighed. " I should have had him tracked. "

Farven nodded, " I agree. You should have.. You aren't the only one though. I could have done something when Jason came to me about it. I knew something was off about someone the night we had that meeting. It make sense that he would try to cause trouble here. A lot of people, drinking, and no one would really be paying any mind to things if we didn't think anything was wrong. Good for us that we did. "

" Good thing I'm so short. No one saw me tailing her through the crowd really. " Axton scoffed as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.

Jayce laid his head on Mika's. " I'm sorry Love. I should have been thinking rationally. "

She shook her head. " No. I would have reacted the same. I would have been pissed, and was pissed that someone tried to lure me outside. I would be even more pissed that they almost hurt my mate. So it's okay. But..." she looked up at him, " Do it again, and I'll show you why he has a scar from me. I can be scary when provoked Jayce. " she warned before giving soft smile. " He scared me in those few moments. I thought he wasn't letting go. He looked like he just about snapped. "

Mika looked around at their friends. " Does this mean... that Darius has broken the contract?"

Ricardo looked up at her. She outright addressed the elephant in the room. As he had come to expect from the bold young Luna. " Not yet. He left without any troubles, let go when he was told, and from what has been said was respectful. That doesn't translate to punishment yet. The arm yes, but contract wise, no. " He huffed. He didn't like this one bit. His own little Luna could have been a target as well. She and Mika had grown close as friends over the month.

She sighed. " Right.. guess that makes sense. Am I still going to his tribe? Does that put me at risk?"

Jayce growled. " Unfortunately yes. We have to hold to our promise as well. But, I want you guys on high alert when traveling close to him. Never allow her away from your sight. " The guys nodded. Each seemingly annoyed they would have to be so close to someone they saw as a threat to Mika, who they saw as somewhat of a sister.
