The Contract

Yoongi was honestly sick of the red carpets and gold trimmings of the castle, only one day has shown him that a place so beautiful could easily be one of chaos and confusion, much like a madhouse. The guard didn't speak nor look at the witch while walking down the endless corridors, just walking with heavy footsteps and keeping a hand secured on the sword that hung on his hip.

They soon stopped outside another set of identical black doors, the guard knocked twice and then pushed the witch through. With a short grunt the witch stood straight and almost rolled his eyes at the familiar group of men in the room. The guard he scratched, the man he insulted, the unreadable King and lastly the giggly man.

"Ah the witch has arrived Your Majesty," the guard announced with a voice laced in apathy.

Everyone turned to face the small boy, the only one who smiled was the giggly man from earlier.

"Oh yay, you're awake! Is your neck alright-" the giggly man walked closer to the witch with sympathetic eyes and a warm smile, only to be interrupted by the other man. God this is all so confusing when I now nobodies names!

"Taehyung! Don't get close to it!" he spat harshly, grabbing 'Taehyungs' arm and pulling him away from the witch. The smile fell from his face as he pulled away his arm,

"That's Your Highness to you Seokjin! Don't touch me again," he argued back and stepped away from the man.

"Alright, alright, calm down the pair of you. Always at it like cat and fucking dog," the King grumbled as he stood from his seat and walked towards the witch, the scratched guard, Jungkook, following closely at his side protectively. "You're awake, ready to sign this contract?"

Yoongi raised a brow, "Sign? What contract?"

The King nodded, and turned to face Seokjin, holding his hand out expectantly. Something Yoongi noted about the king was that he rarely smiled. Like, at all. Yoongi thought it was kind of creepy.

A stack of paper was shoved carelessly in the witches face.

"You have five minutes to read and sign it, I had my advisor write it up." The King explained as he returned to his seat. Unlike last time, they were gathered in a more casual living room than the overwhelming throne room. This room was more chill with warm wooden undertones and comfy cream couches.

Yoongi briefly flipped through the contract, eyes widening at the staggering amount of pages. he held the pages with a confused smirk, "This is a contract?"

The man, Seokijn he believed, laughed condescendingly and walked closer to the King, standing beside where he sat. "Yes witch, in civil society we call that a contract. Its a legal binding agreement."

"Oh?" Yoongi played ignorant and flipped through the pages again, not reading a single word. Instead, he took the contract and walked before the King, who tilted his head arrogantly, "Signed already? Give it here." He held out his hand expectantly once again.

Yoongi smiled and held the contract out half way before his eyes flashed white and the pages suddenly burst into flames, disintegrating completely into thin air. The guard pulled out his sword and pointed it directly under the witches throat.

"Jungkook!" The giggly man, who Yoongi now knew his name as Taehyung, protested. Everyone was tense at the witches bold use of magic. Whereas the King remained stoic, his ever cockily tilted brow not wavering an inch despite the flames firing up only inches form his face.

"You don't agree with the terms of the contract?"

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "You've never dealt with my kind before have you?"
