Scolding

As a child, Yoongi was playful. Being the youngest of 6 came with its benefits, one of those benefits was being an angel in his mother's eyes.
On one specific occasion, Yoongi had been hanging around with Chanyeol, both of them messing around and playing with their powers.
Chanyeol being the eldest brother was extremely calm in nature, yet somewhat chaotic when he got riled up. Such as on this day, he being just 16 and little Yoongi being 10, the pair sat on the meadow as Channie-hyung played with the birds. Yoongi was often jealous of his brothers ability to communicate with animals, especially in moments like these where he could laugh and have fun with the sweet little creatures.

Yet as said before, Yoongi had a mischievous streak in him. Said streak led him to devise a plan in which Channie got the birds to steal cookies form their kitchen window where their mother had lay them to cool.
In a quick turn of events, the birds did indeed retrieve the cookies, but only after destroying the kitchen on their path.

Their mother was furious, disappointed in how Chanyeol so easily got swayed and mad that Yoongi was so cheeky. Yet she was soft on them. Quickly forgiving them and leaving it be. However Yoongis father was a different story. Although a kind man, he was stern. Having 6 children led him to build a routine strong enough to keep structure within their home.
Hearing of the boys childish and careless actions he set up punishments for them both, just some extra chores and such, noting cruel. That night, as Yoongi sat on the roof, a usual antics of his, his father followed him up, staring at him with a firm stare, but soft eyes.

Yoongi moved his father, but he discovered very young that he hasted to disappoint him. His stare would haunt the boy further than any words or punishments.

That's how Yoongi felt as the King stared down at him, the small wolf pup nipping at their pant leg, Taehyung stood with his head sheepishly down-turned beside the witch.
"Joo-"

"No Taehyung," he cut the younger off without missing a best, his eyes remaining foes to those of the little witch, "explain?"

Yoongi shrugged, not lying but not agreeing.

"Yeontans a gift-" Tae was cut off again bu the King who finally placed his attention to the young prince, his eyes alone spoke a million words, all of them being 'shut up'.

Sighing heavily, Yoongi spoke up, "I-it's just a puppy. I figured you wouldn't care about a little puppy confusing there's a whole stable of fire breathing dragons," he admitted with a somewhat bratty tone, one the King tried his best not to appear amused with.

Rolling his eyes, Namjoon bent down and lifted the pup, it's small body fitting nicely in his hand. He poked out a finger of his free hand and gentle stroked the pups scruffy fur, a small smile escaped him as the little thing tipped cutely.
"This is a wolf pup, they will grow bigger and bigger until we can't control it. Dragons are different, we have trained specialists to deal with them. They're work creatures, Taehyung has 0 experience with wolves."

Although the prince lifted his head to defend himself, he was beaten to it as the little witch stood with his arms crossed, "not everything is about control! You treat an animal within respect and they give it back. Maybe give Taehyung a chance to prove himself first..." he trailed off softly, catching the stern eyes of the taller who wore an alluring smirk and stood with a body that demanded submission.

The king couldn't help but stare at the younger so devilishly, the smaller was simply too cute. He wasn't really angry, a little frustrated at the fact there was a yippy pup running about the palace, but not angry.
Placing the pup back on the floor, it frolicking haphazardly towards the prince, Namjoon lay his hands to rest on his waist.
"You can keep them, but they're your responsibility alone. Keep them in order or we'll return them to the wild"
