"I honestly think we can do this," Donghyuck said, gathering his things and putting the paperback in his bag.

"You and me both," Mark said, standing up from his seat.

"Want me to help you clean up?"

"No, I got it," Mark said, looking at the mess on the table.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, it's just a couple of plates," Mark answered with a smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow then," Donghyuck said, hiking his bag up his shoulder and walking out the front door into the lawn.

"Donghyuck!" Mark called out.

"Yeah?"

"Uhh," Mark stuttered, not knowing how to phrase the question.

"What is it?"

"You know how we've been on the news and plastered in magazines and online and-" Mark started, nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

"Mark!" Donghyuck stopped him before he could start rambling, "What's up?"

"My family saw that and they want me to invite you to my cousin's wedding that's happening next week." He said quickly, "But I can totally say no if you want. Like I get how -"

"Do you want me to come?" Donghyuck asked Mark.

"What?"

"If you want me to come then I'll come but if you don't then you can make up some excuse," Donghyuck said with a smile.

"Oh."

"You're acting like you've never had a choice before," Donghyuck laughed.

Mark didn't. He was always told what to do but he didn't want to tell Donghyuck that.

"Will your schedule let you come?" He asked instead.

"If you want me to, I'll clear my schedule," Donghyuck said immediately. "We're in this together, remember?"

"Yeah," He said, "Together."

"Let me know, okay?" Donghyuck said with a wide smile, hand on the handle of the metal gate.

"Donghyuck," Mark called out again.

"Yeah, Mark?"

"Be my date to the wedding?"

"And he asked you to be his date to the wedding?" Jaemin asked while styling Donghyuck's hair.

"Yeah to his cousin's wedding," Donghyuck said, biting the tip of his thumbnail, looking at Jaemin through the mirror.

"I don't get what the big deal is," Jaemin said honestly, "You two are dating so isn't this kind of expected?"

Donghyuck sighed, hating the fact that he couldn't tell Jaemin, his best friend, the whole truth. He had to filter everything and treat Jaemin like the general public. Donghyuck needed real advice and this wasn't it.

"Isn't it too soon though?" Donghyuck said, "We just started going out."

"You're worried about what his family would think?" Jaemin asked.
