Saving a life part 1

 Granger's POV

It's almost been half a year since he's dead, but in my mind I can't help but feel like I could've done something to prevent it but unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that I, a young girl, could've done something to prevent the deranged witch, Bellatrix Lestrange, from killing her cousin Sirius Black.

I don't know why, exactly, but ever since the day of his death. I've tried looking for something that would help bring him back from the vial.  And well, some may say, some of the books I've used for research are dark but the few others will say that "they're not dark it's just written from a different perspective" and to be honest I think the books which are marked "dark" so far, has been more helpful than any other book. But still. I have to keep on looking. Maybe I'll be able to find something I can use a Grimmauld place's library.

Finally, the Christmas holiday has arrived. Ginny, Ron, Harry and I were all going to the Burrow for this Holiday. Ron had told he'd gotten a letter from Mrs Weasley saying that everyone except Percy would be home for Christmas and Remus and Nymphadora or rather Tonks would be joining as well. 

I had said I would be there as well a few days but then go home to be with my mom and dad, but truth be told no one other than Remus and Tonks knew I was going over to Grimmauld Place to the library to "Study" as I've told those two. They just didn't know what it was I was studying exactly.

But let's not dwell in this now, just hurry and get ready or the other will leave for the train without you.

I packed the last of my stuff and max my way done to the front entrance where everyone going on holiday would have to place their baggage. And then found Ginny, Ron and Harry standing outside by the carriages. "Come on 'Mione wouldn't want to miss the train and besides all the carriages has almost begun to pull towards the station!!" As Ron yelled, I rolled my eyes but ran over to them and we all got in a carriage and the felt it begin to pull toward the station.

"So, Mione, why is it that you're going to leave me alone with these two after a couple of days, huh?" Ginny suddenly asked. Argh, I had hoped I could've made it these days and then slipped away with Remus and Tonks without having to explain anything.

"Sis, didn't I tell you as I told mom, what Mione told me? Must have slipped my mind or else I must've had something better on my mind. But well she's going home to her own family to celebrate Christmas with them too." Forgetful, airhead, brain-damaged or Professor Snape's favoured word for someone like him Dunderhead, I don't know which one describes Ron best, but that might be because he's like a brother who always forgets or waits till last minute to do everything. After Ron told Ginny the rest of the ride was companied by silence for once, I could just sit and relax while reading my second favourite book, which is "Pride and prejudice".  

 " Mione, better get ready, we're almost at the station," Harry said after almost two-three hours of comfortable silence. We all began packing our small bags and were ready as the Hogwarts Express made it to Kings Cross station. As we stepped out of the train Ginny took hold of my wrist and pulled me towards the large gathering of redhaired people and a brown-haired man and purple-haired woman.

"TONKS! REMUS!" I yelled as we made it closer to them. Which got everyone in the gathering to turn around and look at us. "Mia, our favourite adopted sister..." George started. "What have you been up to?" Fred ended their sentence with as Ginny had stopped holding my wrist they both took hold and pulled me in for a hug. "Nothing much, the usual," I answered with.

Then I was almost lifted from one person to another until I reached Tonks and Remus. and pulled both of them into a group hug. "So what have you two been up to?" I asked in a quiet tone so none of the others would bother us. "Oh, eh... well, you see, we haven't really..." Remus was caught off by Tonks "Remus, she knows. You remember the person I've been writing to, and saying it was a family member, well that person was Mia, so of course, she's the only one who knows about us." 

"Come on everyone lets get going!" Mrs Weasley called out to our little gathering.

At the Burrow

As we made it to the Burrow everyone was talking with someone, but me as I was still trying to figure the last details out. we all went inside to have an amazing dinner. 

Remus, Tonks and I made a move to go to the apparition point. "Look out now and please take good care of Hermione. while you go. Oh Dear, are you sure you wouldn't want to stay?" Mrs Weasley asked me.

"I'm sure Mrs Weasley and Remus and Tonks will take care of me.

Suddenly a fire snake came out and surrounding the burrow and we heard the most hated laugh and words. 

"I killed Sirius Black, ha ha ha, I killed Sirius Black" Harry came running out, pushing past both Remus, Tonks and me.

Ginny came running to but Mr Weasley grabbed her before she could go far. We all turned around just as Harry ran through the fire. "NOOOO! Harry!" I yelled while starting to run after him with Remus on the heel trying to grab me, but I slipped through his fingers, just as I had jumped through the fire it flared up and stopped Remus from getting further. "Mia! Hurry and help Harry well come as fast as we can." Remus Yelled which made me set a sprint in the direction which Harry had run.
