Two months into Enzo's deal with his kidnappers, they had started to let Elizabeth wander the building freely. There was a spell in place to stop her from leaving the building but the so-called Armory had promised to let her go entirely after Enzo secured Rayna Cruz.

"Good. You made it," Enzo said as Damon and Bonnie walked towards the building.

"Where the hell are we?" Damon asked as they entered.

"This is the Armory. Home to a society of supernatural artefact collectors. They keep them under lock and key, so they don't fall into the wrong hands."

Damon picked up an ancient-looking mask, "The Armory. Never heard of it," he turned to the witch, "You?"

"Nope."

"I think that's the point," a voice said.

Damon turned to see Elizabeth walking towards them, "Betty! You're here too." Damon said overly cheerful, "Now how 'bout you two tell us how they can save my brother. Where is the cavalry guys?"

"They're out on their own supernatural treasure hunt," Enzo told him, "But, lucky you, they've recruited me to nab Rayna Cruz. Ever since that annoying Phoenix Stone turned up in Mystic Falls, she's been their top priority. They actually consider her one of the supernatural wonders of the world."

"And why do you care what they want?" Bonnie asked.

"They have something I want. When the Armory kidnapped me four months ago, it wasn't to torture me. A woman named Alex made me an offer. In exchange for my help, they would give me information about my family and let Elizabeth go. Needles to say, I've been working for the Armory ever since."

"All we need you to do is get Stefan here," Elizabeth told them, "Then when Rayna follows, the Armory captures her, I get to leave the building and Enzo's sister stops desiccating in the basement."

Damon hummed, "I'll have to discuss this with my council," he turned to Bonnie.

Bonnie held his gaze for a moment before looking at the soulmates again, "Okay, we're in."

To no one's surprise, things hadn't went as planned so Enzo had ended up locking Damon in a cell with the comatose Tyler Lockwood.

"Why the hell is he here?" Damon asked.

"He's an associate of ours, actually. We take care of our own." Enzo told him.

"That's why you have Elena," Damon concluded.

"Cookie for you. Well, it turns out Tyler made contact with the Armory during his hunter sojourns. So when Matt Donovan needed help with the vampire problem in Mystic Falls, he called Tyler, who called the Armory, thinking they'd put me away for good. Little did he know they wanted me to work for them instead. So here we all are."

"In a cell. That's how you take care of people?"

"Oh, don't worry about Tyler. We're simply keeping him alive until his werewolf transformation stirs him awake and heals him up. Shouldn't be long now." he went to leave.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Enzo left the room and closed the door behind him, "Oh. Did I forget to mention tonight's a full moon? Huh...Look, you're welcome to stay safely with me on this side of the glass. Just give me Stefan's location."

"Thanks. I'm more of an up-close kind of guy."

"Suit yourself. We'll see how long that lasts."

Elizabeth heard Enzo's scream and made her way to where the sound came from only to see Enzo leaning against a wall, holding his right arm against himself and Elizabeth could smell his blood before she saw that her soulmate's hand was missing.

Her eyes widened as she lifted him up and carried him to Alex's office. Arriving there, she kicked the door open, making the woman look up in shock.

"I need your help," the werewolf stated.
