Maxon's POV
6 months later....
It's been months since I've seen her. And I didn't even get to talk to her. I've officially gotten rid of all caste labels. Everyone can be whatever they want to be. It's made America happy. She talks about it during her interviews. But now that I've finished my main work and projects. Even though the people are happy with where we're at, I'm not sure how they will react to my announcement tonight on the report.

"Good Evening ladies and gentlemen, I'm Gavril Fadaye! And tonight we have a very important announcement from King Maxon." I take that as my cue to get up from my seat. "Good Evening Illéa! As you've heard previously, I have a huge announcement. But before that I have a few words to say." I pause for a moment to give suspense. "I've seen the opinion polls from each province. Mostly everybody is happy with how we are at the moment and I'm glad. You've cooperated with all these changes and have made my job a lot easier than you know. But I haven't been the happiest here at the palace. Which brings me to my next topic" I sigh.

"I think we as Illéa have great potential with great people. Which is why I think we shouldn't have the royals anymore. I believe we should have a democracy. I know it's a bit of the old times but I think it would do some good. We should let you, the people, choose who will govern over you. I've found the rules that follow the position. And I've sent them to every governor in the provinces " I give one big sigh "which is why I have decided to abdicate the throne". That earned a lot of gasps and cheers of my advisors and counseling team.
