Chapter I Expository & Rising Action

Mayari Penumbra is an Egyptian Goddess. The Goddess of War, Peace, Moon, and the only female Archer. Mayari sometimes disguise as a normal human being, just to test if other still respect their tradition. 

Maybe there are more Goddesses and Gods but Mayari is different. She have a kind heart and the bravest person you'll know.

It is a peaceful day right now, the perfect day where you can enjoy with the persons you love. But then,
Mayari looked up to the sky when darkness suddenly conquer the peaceful forest. Mayari is in disguise this time, while grilling some fishes and potatoes.

It is a Total Lunar Eclipse. She stand up and took her bow and arrows. It must not have happened now, Total Lunar Eclipse must happen next year and not this day. Unbelievable!

"I am not expecting this... How can this happen?" Mayari asked herself.

She looked at her bow and then suddenly, all of her questions have been answered.

"A deadly and dangerous day..." Mayari mumbled.

She is the only one inside the Amazon Rainforest, Mayari will leave tomorrow to go back to Egypt. After what happened in Amazon, she was devastated that people didn't take care and look after this beautiful masterpiece.

"What will happen next?" she asked herself.

Mayari took her hood and left the food she was preparing. In just a blink, Mayari quickly flew away like no one will noticed that she was already gone.

When Mayari arrived at her country, the place was very peaceful and quiet. You'll just hear the whisper of the wind and splash of the waves.

"Mayari!" she looked down and saw Luxor screaming her name while holding a spear.

She decided to land slowly so that she could talk to Luxor without shouting to each other.

"Glad you're here, Mayari. You must have noticed the situation in the entire world." Luxor said calmly.

"Yes, I am. What is happening?" Mayari confusedly asked Luxor.

"I still don't know, but the only thing that is true...  Anpu will start to destroy the world" Mayari took a deep breathe. Knowing the fact that Anubis also known as Anpu the God of Dead and Mummification will destroy her beloved home.

"Then we must move. The only thing that we can do is to Fight, fight for the innocent people, fight for our home. We can't let Anpu destroy this planet." Mayari grip her bow tightly as she think the very best plan that she can do.
