I want to say, before I continue with this book, that all the information I have written about is directly from Princess Fallon. Therefore, I have no doubt in its complete accuracy. It is my objective to write this part of Vivelle's history with complete truths. I will not allow these events to be glossed over and manipulated by those who do not want the rest of our nation to know what really happened. Something I believe has happened for hundreds and hundreds of years. I fully expect that almost every history book I have read has either a few inaccuracies or is all a complete story.

I will not allow my work to become the same.

I like to think that I am a man of integrity and truth. Perhaps, because of this, this history book will never reach the light of day. I suspect that should Princess Illyana fail, her name will not be remembered fondly. No doubt she will be villainized and use as a further example to continue with The Queen's Trials.

So, here we are. I am going to be writing as much as I can. Information I have gathered myself. Information given to me reliable sources. Events that are happening within my city. An insight into what is really happening within the castle. This is the true events of the rise of the True Queen.

The True Queen will Rise. Down with the False King.

~The Rising of the True Queen. Prologue. Written by Master Audwin. The Master Scholar of Vivelle During the Reign of King Orion and The King Chosen Matthias.

I have only been in here for five minutes. Already, that is too long. I need to know what is happening. Luckily, I have a shifter friend who I can telepathically speak to. Nianzu had been pretty quiet during the journey here. I know he isn't a fan of my plan. However, he had kept an eye on me from the skies. I hear a grunt and then a loud thud. Quickly, I stand up and rush over to the bars of my cell. Nianzu appears a few moments later, I grin on his face and the keys in his hand. I grin and he quickly unlocks my cell.

"Took your time," I joke. He laughs and pulls the unconcious Lupine into my cell and covers his whole body with the blanket. I look at Nianzu with a raised eyebrow.

"Are trying to pass his huge form for me?" I ask. Nianzu just shrugs.

"I don't think they will be paying that close attention. After all, who would be able to escape out of the cells and then be able to get past a Lupine? Plus, these cells are empty but for you. No need for anyone else to come down here to check or feed any other prisoners.

"Okay," I sigh. "What next?" He looks at me.

"Well, you might want to return to your normal form all but the eyes. Lots of people saw that face when you arrived here," he tells me. I do so. The short, golden locks darkening and lengthening until my hair once again falls down my back in the silky black waves.  In the form Nianzu had given me, my skin was a little more tanned in colour. However, because of my days in the heat, my skin has tanned itself so it doesn't change as much. I keep the jade green eyes though, my different coloured ones would drastically stand out and I would be recognised instantly.

"What about what I am wearing?" I ask. I am wearing a simple outfit. A lose, dirty off white top tucked into dirty brown leather trousers.

"You fit in fine," he replies and begins to lead me out of the cells.

"You know your way around?" I ask. He nods.

"It has changed a fair bit, but not completely. I spent a lot of time here with Visara," he tells me. I nod my head.

"Can you understand the language?" I ask. He shrugs.

"Enough," he replies.

"Okay, let's go and spy on the meeting between the Lupine who brought me here and the Solavar. Hopefully, Wyatt and Zoran are safe," I sigh nervously.
