A/N: so, this is probably gonna be a bit of a fluff chapter, maybe. I'm still new to writing fan fiction like this. God, once I am actually at school 5 days a week, which won't last long, as I'm at a charter school, I won't be posting until I get home or until all of you are most likely asleep. ;3;
BACK TO THE STORY

~Connors POV~

I take a deep breath and get ready to knock when she opens the door. "Oh, Connor! I'm soooooo sorry for smacking you in the nose with the door!" She laughs a bit, nervously. My LED spins yellow, thinking. "You ok?" She asks, grabbing my chin and looking to see if she left me bleeding thirium.

"Yes, w-would you like to go to the cafe with me, so we can thoroughly 'catch up?'" I ask, smiling. Damn it! I still somehow right now sound like an android! I'm NOT AN ANDROID!!! I think, nervously smiling.

"Sure! Seems like you have a lot more to let up!" She says, letting go of my chin. I look at her face in relief. Her cheeks are shining with tears racing down them. She lets me in to wait for her as she fixes her hair, suit and face up. I self-consciously rake my hand through my hair, then flick my coin around. I half expect Lieutenant Anders-Hank to snatch it away, yelling at me, "You're starting to piss me off with that coin, Connor!" Instead, it's just y/n and me. "Ok, y/n, do you have any ideas why our models are so similar?" I ask her, starting out slowly. She surprisingly, but not that surprisingly packs up. "W-what?" She says, looking at me a few times while grabbing the multiple outfits.

"Do you know why we were produced at the same time? I'm curious!" I ask, all bubbly. "Oh uh, you're my male counterpart, I'm your female counterpart. That's why we were produced at the same time and have the same abilities," she sighs, shoving a skirt in. "Do you mind if I change? Just, please don't look..." She asks, timidly. I hear a shuffling sound of fabric and she then shakes out a silk skirt. "Ok, you can look Connor." Y/n says, blushing. I start to blush too as she puts her suit into her luggage too. "Let's go to the Lieutenant's house now." Y/n winks, calling me, Connor a Lieutenant. How did she know I got promoted? I think in awe. I just know Connor, I can see your stats too, you know. All androids can! She telekinetically tells me.

"Have you ever thought of getting a last name? I think k mine should be l/n! I think it works really really well with my first name." She asks, standing over me. "U-uh, I think I should take Anderson, he saw me as a son, so I'll take his name," I say, nervously blushing at her slick figure.

"Cat got your tongue, Connor? Let's go now!" She said, happily grabbing her luggage after closing it. "N-n-no, and yes let's go now." I stutter and gets up, looking at my hair in the mirror. Your hair is fine! She tells me telekinetically again.

I sigh, glancing over every so often to see as if she changes so quickly.

~2nd Person~

You grasp his hand, smiling. He takes a sip of his coffee, analysing it. "You got a lot on your mind Connor, huh?" You ask him, sipping your f/d. "Yeah, I do. We should do some cases together, to one get to know each other way better, and two to get me, someone, to talk to, with Hank not around, it gets lonely." He said, looking up sadly at you. You feel bad for him, do you think, LED spinning blue and yellow. "Let's get the Captain's approval first, he probably won't be happy if he just sees two androids randomly working together. Hell, he'll probably also want a human detective to go make sure we're not doing anything weird." You say, laughing at the last part. Connor looks at you with a fond smile, laughing too.

"Hope this will work, I also hope that we'll find a human that will be willing to work with two deviant androids. That really nobody but the deviants know are deviants." You say, lowering your voice once you get to the deviant parts. "Yeah, we can hope, even though there's a 47% chance of it succeeding." He says, looking back down.

"Let's finish our coffee and go get his approval," Connor says confidentially.  "Yep!" You say, absolutely bubbling over with excite. You take another sip, either singeing your tongue or giving you a brain freeze, from gulping the hot/cold drink. You twitch a bit, fumbling after putting the drink down. "You Ok, y/n?" He asks, wiping a stream from the corner of your mouth. You nod, swallowing. "Yeah, just drank it too fast." You say, realising he's reaching across the table to wipe your mess from your face. Your face is swatched with a light blue.

You both look at a digital map, him already knowing how far, but still looks at the map. "Let's take this route, we won't get bumped, damaged, or anything like that, but it'll add a minute by foot." You say, analysing the other routes. "It's one of the fastest, and we won't get hurt, yeah I agree," Connor mumbles, nodding. "Let's execute it then." You both say, blushing at the sudden chorus.

You arrive at the DPD in an instant, it feels like. You're too nervous to process straight. Connor hugs you, calming you down. "It'll be fine, now let's go in." He tells you. You both walk up to the Secretary android and she speaks, "Lieutenant Connor, welcome. Whom do you have with you?" Connor looks back and forth, you nod. "I have Detective y/n l/n with me, she would like to join." The Secretary android looks at you confused. "She's... I'll let you in, Captain will be waiting for you both." She says, almost sounding deviant for a second.

You let out a huge sigh after walking through the door. "Good, good, good. I hope Kamski won't be looking for me." You say, hissing his name like a curse. "Lieutenant Connor and...?" Captain Fowler said, asking you for your name, even though you zoned out. "Y/n..." Connor whispered, elbowing you. "Oh right, y/n l/n. Detective y/n l/n." You say. He nods, saying, "riiiiight... so why do you wanna join?" He asks you. "I uh wanted to help." You stutter. He nods again.

After a lengthy conversation with Captain Fowler, you finally got the part. To you, it felt like a Turing test. At least I passed. You thought, Connor, agreeing by nodding.
