At least I passed. You thought, Connor, agreeing by nodding. "At least." They signed together, walking to Connor's desk. There was already a human sitting there, in front of Connor's desk. "Detective Reed, what the hell?" He asked the human, the human-looking up. "I'm not the only one who was moved desks?! Thanks a lot, Fowler! God kill me." The black-haired human said. "Now I have to work with three plastic pricks around me. I may only go on duty with one but god, reigning three, three, around the office is going to be the death of me, I swear!" He, the human, mumbled.

You tilted your head in confusion. "Wh-" you start task whennnen the human gives you a death stare. Then his android walks up with his coffee. "Thanks, Nines," Gavin said. "Oh no more insults? How kind of you Gavin!" The RK900 said, sounding unintentionally sarcastic. "Sorry, accidental sarcasm..." the other android, that looked like Connor, but taller, mumbled.

You were apparently staring off in space because the next you know, Connor elbowed you, which apparently happens often, the other tall android towering over you both. "Hmm?" You ask, looking at Connor, a bit intimidated by the tall one, apparently called Nines. Connor nods towards his little brother. "Oh, uh, I'm Y/n." You say nervously, meeting Nines's gaze. The taller of the two nods. "Ok, as you may have heard, I'm called Nines." He says, brandishing the thing flashing between his model and his name. You smile nervously, Connor, the shorter, yet older, thanks for the greeting and shows you to your desk beside his.

You first examine Connors desk. There are different pictures of him in action, but there's also a calm family photo of him, Hank, and a dog, supposedly Sumo. Both Hank and Sumo deceased. There's a photo of the whole team pinned to his corkboard too. And a new photo he's exchanging for one of the messier of his photos, a picture of you when you were watching a movie with him. You looked so clean, focused, and most of all, perfect. Perfect's what written on the frame at least.

You look up at him, sit at your own desk and unpack what you had in your bag that could be fine as a knickknack. It seems like a picture of you, trying on a beautiful f/c dress. There's an f/C figurine as well.

You hear Gavin mumbled something, as he walks over it brightens his mood. He most likely had his cup of coffee, that usually brightens him up to be nicer. Connor explained, putting a hand on your shoulder, examining your desk now. You pull your jacket off, rolling up your white sleeves. A human nears. Your sensor tells you, being right. Captain Fowler walks up behind you, looking at your desk. Your art as normal as a human would, jumping when he leans over your desk. "C-Captain? You scared me! Seriously!" You say, being half truthful. You didn't expect Captain Fowler to be there.

"You're an android, y/n, you can't be scared, yet me being here and not Gavin probably did." He states, crossing his arms. "Ok, I need you four to go work on something. I can't just have these two goofing off by themselves, can I? No, so don't complain. Ok, so, I'll send Nines and Connor the coordinates. Gavin, you and y/n fight rock paper scissors to see who drives. No complaining whatever happens!" Fowler says, talking slowly. Gavin throws his arms up. "Whatever you say, Fowler!" He says, a bit frustrated. Fowler nods and walks off.

Gavin doesn't want to fight an android, knowing it'll go easy on him, or win so it can drive, so he just says, "just, y/n, you are legally allowed to drive, you know how to, so go the hell ahead." You don't seem surprised. "You do know though, I will make you sit in the back middle." You say, him nodding. It takes a moment for Connor to process what you're saying. "But y/n, that'd be unsafe, either way... Oh wait, you're kicking Nines and I back there too. Ok, fine." He says, laughing softly at the end of it.

You smile, gripping the wheel. Ok, just gotta drive. It'll be fine y/n. You say to yourself in your mind. You glance at your jacket in the passenger seat. You then start to drive after looking back at the road.

(Another time skip to get there brought to you by my fantasizing)

You finally get there after you hear Gavin and Connor snap at each other in the backseat. "God, you guys! Stop fighting every second!" You say, grabbing all the jackets. Connor apologises, taking his jacket. Nines puts his jacket on, wiping the dirt off the pure white of it. "Ok, let's go solve this case!" Gavin says, rubbing his temples. You don't look human, wearing an f/c cropped sweater and high rise ripped jeans with your dark grey jacket in the car. The only problem, your LED. You take a pen and ask Connor to remove it. "But wouldn't Cyberli-" he starts, realising you both left there for good, but kept your clothes. He just does it, Gavin and Nines inspecting the scene. Your skin heals instantaneously after he takes it off. You place it in the pocket of your jacket, then locking the car at last.

~Connor and Nines figure it out and say what happens at the same time~ (Also a time skip brought to you by almost fixed insomnia after writing this and getting grounded for being on electronics so late)

"God you guys are so alike it's uncanny," Gavin said, with much sarcasm. You grasp the wheel, glancing at the portfolio, making sure it's still all together. A song that you love comes on and Connor smiles, seeing the title of the song. "Connor, is this, like her favourite sing of something?" Gavin asks, quickly going to correct his mistake. "S-sorry, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Connor," Gavin says nervously. "No need, just call me Connor, per usual," Connor says. Gavin nods, relaxing.

(Another time skip to get there brought to you by my inspired soul, and all of you)

"How'd it go Gavin, y/n? Ohh I see. You kicked Gavin in the backseat with the other two after he gave up, I see." He asks, then smirking. You nod. "Good choice, if it weren't for Connor and Detective Reed's bickering." He asks you. "Yeah." You agree, grabbing the portfolio, looking at the grumpy Gavin and snickering. He looks like an angry toddler that didn't get candy at Halloween.
