I: Left Forgotten In Mind

Heatwave felt like it's been weeks, but only it's only been two months.  He sighed and punch a wooden dummy before blocking and kicking it. Blades was watching cartoons, Boulder was working on something, and Chase was reading rules and regulations.
    Cody came down with a smile plastered on his face.
    "Hey guys!," Cody greeted as Blades turned from the screen to look at Cody.
    "Hey Cody," Blades chirped back with a bright smile on his faceplate.
    "Anything new?," Heatwave questioned as Cody shook his head.
    "No, nothing much really, but want to hear myths?," Cody asked as Heatwave sighed and went back to punching and kicking the wooden dummies.
    "What kind of myths?," Blades questioned as Boulder put down what he was holding.
    "There's myths beside the griffin of Griffin Rock, but there are Guardians among the island," Cody says as they listened.
    Heatwave stopped and listened.
    "Two in fact, one can turn into Earth's water and the other can burn anything down by touch of breathing fire," Cody said.
    "Breathing fire and touch of lava? Doesn't that defies physics?," Chase questioned.
    "Don't know, when our ancestors came here, he met them," Cody said grabbing a book.
    "What do they look like?," Boulder asked.
    "They were made out of metal, but their heights are different," Cody spoke as he opened the book.
    "One was the color of the ocean as the other was the color of the night," Cody says.
    "Cody, they don't exist," Kade said walking out of the elevator.
    "Heatwave, you seem to be in mind of something of something," Chase pointed out as the red firebot looked blankly at Chase.
    Heatwave gave a shrug before going back to punching the wooden dummy.
    "What else about them?," Blades asked as Cody thought for a bit.
    "There's a festival for them as a treaty, they gave part of the island for us to live upon as the rest are forest we can explore, but never change it," Cody explained as Boulder and Blades looked surprised.
"When?," Blades questioned as Kade rolled his eyes.
"Just next week," Cody smiled.
Heatwave jumped down and landed on his pedes softly before walking to the tunnels and looked through seeing another shadow.  He glared down the tunnel before Cody went to him.
"What is it, Heatwave?," Cody asked as Heatwave looked down at the young boy.
"It's nothing... I'm probably seeing things," Heatwave says mumbling the last part as Cody looked confused and looked down the tunnel.
"What's with him?," Kade asked bluntly as Blades shrugged.
"He said he feels the place gets warmer whenever a shadow appear or something like that, but it scares me of how he sees it and not us," Blades says as Kade looked over at Heatwave who was standing still and silent.
"Heatwave, you seeing things?," Kade mocked as Heatwave looked at him before turning to walk away.
Then the phone started ringing, Cody picked up the phone.
"Hello? Skylar?," Cody asked a bit excited.
"Alright, I can't wait!," Cody smiled as he put the phone back.
"Skylar is visiting us!" Cody called out as they looked at him.
"Doesn't that means we have to hide?," Blades questioned as Cody thought about it.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean he can meet you without knowing that you are aliens," Cody says as Boulder and Blades smiled a bit.
"Who's Skyar, we all know Graham mentioned him, but who is he?," Chase questioned.
"He's a friend of mine when we were kids, he's older than me, but he's only about 19 years old and friends with my dad. Kade and Skylar have a not so good relationship," Cody explained.
"He sounds fun to meet," Boulder says as Cody chuckle.
"No, he isn't, he can sometimes be a pain or a good friend," Kade says as Cody scoff lightly.
"Yeah, but he only does that if you're mean to him and you were mean to him in which mean he does take you very lightly, which means he will constantly give you a gun to the head," Cody pointed out as Kade groans.
"He has a weapon with him?," Chase asked alarmed as Cody nodded.
"Only for protecting his friends, family, or threaten people if so, there's no in between," Cody says shrugging as Chase nodded in understanding.
"Don't we need to tell Dad about him?," Kade asked as Cody dashed to the elevator leaving Kade.
"He really likes Skylar," Blades pointed out.
"Skylar haven't been able to come here to him being busy and have things to do, he comes frequently to visit Cody, but ever since he didn't came last year, he promised Cody that he will visit next year, in which this year, to visit Cody," Kade explained as Heatwave was humming.
"So Cody was lonely and Chief got Skylar to be his friend?," Heatwave questioned as Kade looked at him surprised.
"Yeah, it was kind of like that... Skylar is sorta friends with except myself, but we don't know what does at his job," Kade says before looking up at Heatwave.
"Hey big guy, by the way, let's go on patrol," Kade says as Heatwave went to the platform.
Cody found his father on the dining table drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Dad, Skylar is coming over to visit!," Cody says with a smile as Chief chuckled.
"Is that so?," Chief questioned as Cody nodded.
"He called on the phone just recently" Cody says as Chief look thoughtful.
"Did you tell them?," Chief asked as Cody shook his head.
"They don't know, not even Kade, Dani, and Graham," Cody sighed lightly as Chief put his hand on Cody's shoulder.
"We might as well tell them when the time is right as Sky would put it," Chief says as Cody laugh a bit.
An hour passed after an emergency, getting back to the firehouse to see an expensive sky blue with an orange stripe patterned heartbeat out of the way of the driveway.
"Sky is here!," Cody called out as Dani and Graham chuckled. 
Getting into the garage was a young man wear full blue with the striped heartbeat orange on his sleeves.
"Nice vehicles" The man says looking at Heatwave who was in his alt-mode in front of him.
Cody got out of Heatwave and ran to hug Skylar.
"Oh geez, I didn't expect that," Skylar said as he hugged Cody back.
"You're here, you're actually here!," Cody said as Skylar smiled.
"I, at least, have the rest of the week to spend it here," Skyler says as Cody frown.
"You're not staying for the next week festival?," Cody asked.
"Hey, let's make this week more than before, alright?," Skyler says as Cody smiled a bit.
"Alright, Sky," Cody says as Skylar patted his head.
"Skylar, you actually came," Kade says bluntly before Skylar looked at him.
"Boy, I dare you to give me coffee," Skylar says glaring at Kade.
"I won't, I won't," Kade says raising his arms in defense.
"Robots, transform!," Chief ordered as the Rescue Bots transformed.
Skyler watched as they transformed into their bipedal mode, he didn't look shocked or surprised.
"Surprised?," Kade asked with a smirk.
"No, doesn't even surprise or amuse me and I will wipe that smug off your face with your stupidity," Skylar remarked making Kade scoffed.
Heatwave almost chuckled, but suppressed himself.
"Sky, how were you doing?," Dani asked as Skylar sighed softly.
"Working part-time police and tired," Skylar spoke as he went up to Chase.
"This is the Police-bot, he helps me a lot when it comes to speeding cars and evacuating people" Chief says as Skylar nodded.
"Just to be very honest, I can get away from a broken law," Skylar said as Chief shook his head and patted Skylar's back.
"You need to get out of trouble more often," Chief says as Skylar snorted a laugh.
"Shouldn't he be arrested by now?," Kade asked.
"Technically I should be in a mental hospital by now," Skylar corrected with a face while shrugging.
"You seem pretty sane to me," Graham says as Skylar gave him a look before looking at Chief who shrugged.
"Hm, okay then," Skylar says as Cody smiled brightly at him.
"Team, I need to talk to you all about something, Skylar, stay here while I talk to them," Chief says as they went upstairs, leaving the young man in the garage with the Rescue Bots.
Blades was nervous that he was still, but was looking down at him.  Skylar sighed and looked up at Heatwave who was in front of him before looking at the pole that leads to upstairs.
Skylar then walked over to Boulder looking through at him before going to Chase to look at him.  Chase was still as Skylar looked at him.
"Now I wonder where they came from," Skylar mumbled before going over to Blades who was at least trying to stay still.
Then Dani came down, see Skylar near Blades made her panic a bit.
"Hey Skylar, like the new Copter-bot?," Dani questioned making Skylar turn to look at her.
Skylar looked at her before looking Blades.
"This one is a helicopter?," Skylar questioned as Dani nodded.
"Yeah, like flying?," Dani asked with a small smile.
"I do, it's just that I want to fly differently like a jetpack or rockets on my boots and back," Skylar said with a mischievous smile.
"Really, just like that?," Dani asked surprised as Skylar smiled.
"I would control the gas pressure and have my arms steering," Skylar says as Dani chuckles.
"As if," Kade says coming down making Skylar put his hand on his chest offended.
"I can dream and make it damn real like how you told me to work in the military in which I am," Skylar says taking out a small badge.
Then the rest of the family came down seeing Skylar holding a small badge.
"You work in the military?," Graham questioned in shock.
"As a general?," Chief questioned as Skylar shrugged.
"I was a rookie, the sergeant I was assigned to was being an ass that he tried to overkill me with the exercise like the other men, but I gave him a taste of his own medicine by installing a camera in the room where we were training," Skylar explained as Dani frown.
"You're still alright?," Dani asked as Skylar smirked.
"I gave the clips to the main general, got him fired and banned from the military for good," Skylar says as Graham sighed in relief.
"What rank are you?," Graham asked as Skylar look thoughtful.
"Rookie to veteran to lieutenant to commander," Skylar says as Kade jaw dropped.
"In just three years!?," Kade almost shouted as Skylar nodded.
Then the alarms went off.
"Dad, fire downtown," Cody says in the commlink as Skylar smiled.
"Mind I join along?," Skylar asked as Chief smiled.
"With me," Chief says as Skylar smirked.
"Robots, transformed!," Chief called out as the Rescue Bots transformed.
Skylar went over Chase's hood quick and swift as he went into the passenger's seat with Chief in the driver's seat.
"Still skilled with that, huh?," Chief asked as Skylar rolled his eyes.
"I'm cheap, let's get rolling," Skylar ended the conversation as they went Downtown.
Reaching down there, Skylar saw the fire.
"That's nice," Skylar commented as they got out of Chase.
"Police-bot, get everyone away from the building!," Chief ordered as Skylar looked around.
"Skylar, don't go in," Chief says as Skylar rolled his eyes.
Skylar watched as Kade arrived and started putting the fire down.
"Kade, go in and see any survivors!," Chief ordered as Kade tried to get in.
"Door is locked shut!," Kade shouted back until Skylar got an idea.
A terrible idea.
"I'll risk the damn burns!," Skylar shouted as he made his way on the roof.
Then sliding down before grabbing and hitting himself to the window that broke immediately upon impact.
"Skylar! That freaking moron!," Kade shouted before the door slammed down with Skylar carrying an unconscious man on his back.
Skylar put the man down on the ground.
Graham went up to him.
"Skylar, you could've gotten yourself killed," Graham says worried as Skylar looked at him.
Heatwave couldn't believe that Skylar did that also, gotten himself killed.
"You're reckless!," Kade hissed as Skylar rolled his eyes.
"You're welcome, knight in shining armor," Skylar says sarcastically as Huxley came up to him.
"Excuse me, do mind telling me how you broke into that man's home for everyone?," Huxley questioned before Skylar grabbed the camera and turned it off.
"I suggest you walk away or you will be taken for breaking the law of fake news," Skylar says giving Huxley his camera back.
"But what will my viewers watch?!," Huxley questioned as Skylar took out his ID.
"I won't hesitate to take you to the mainlands for questioning your actions of news that will lead to people reputation fall to the ground, so I suggest you leave me alone," Skylar spoke in a dangerously low voice making Huxley leave the area.
"Skylar, calm down, he just wants you to be famous," Kade says as Skylar looked at him.
"Famous...?" Skylar questioned.
"Yeah, famous and glory," Kade says putting a hand on Skylar's shoulder
Skylar took his hand off his shoulder before going walking away.
"Why should I care about fame and glory? I don't care, all I care about is someone's life is on the line if I don't do anything.... It pains me that I didn't save someone in time before I died and it made me realize that it can happen to anyone, including Cody!," Skylar said before walking away.
"Is that why you never visited again until now?," Dani asked as Skylar stopped in his steps.
"You guys never remembered a single thing unlike Cody remembered, it makes me pity you," Skylar grumbled quietly making the Rescue Bots hear him.
"Is Skylar always like that?," Blades asked as Dani frown.
"He never outburst like this before unlike the times Kade tried to overshadow him," Dani says as Graham nodded.
"Give Skylar some time to relax, he needs it," Chief spoke as they went back to the firehouse.
Reaching the firehouse garage, Cody was standing and waiting.  The family got out of the Rescue Bots.
"Cody, did you contact Sky?," Kade asked as Cody was quiet.
"Cody, are you okay?," Dani asked with worry.
"Sky is upstairs, he just doesn't want to talk to anyone except me and dad... I saw what happened," Cody says as Heatwave transformed.
"Why is he like that?," Heatwave asked as Cody looked up at him.
"Skylar's sometimes like that, but not all the time, he doesn't like wasting his time with arguments or anything," Cody says as Heatwave nodded.
"He can be threatening too," Kade pointed out.
"That's because you keep trying to overshadow him which leads you to almost jumping out the window or try to climb down from the roof," Cody remarked shutting Kade up immediately almost making Heatwave look at Cody in surprise.
"Wait, seriously?," Blades asked as Cody nodded.
"Did he loses someone important to him?," Boulder asked worried as Cody looked at the floor in silence.
"Sky has been suffering with the loss of his friend and haven't been himself ever since the incident, he became more prone to violence, but he means well," Chief spoken in a tone as they nodded.
"That would've explained about his terrors whenever he sleeps," Kade says as Dani elbowed him making him grunt in pain.
"Let me correct that, Sky was engaged to his boyfriend," Cody remarked making the siblings shocked.
"I know how that felt..." Blades says quietly in sorrow as Boulder patted his backstrut.
"Losing a partner?," Dani asked as Blades nodded.
"I used to have one until she went to the Allspark, but at least she doesn't have to face war again" Blades spoke confidently with a small smile.
"Right now, Skylar doesn't want to talk to anyone," Cody says as they nodded.
