III: Never a Losing Battle

Chase on the side of the road with Chief in the driver’s seat.  Chief was watching until a speeding car passed by.
“Permission to pursue?,” Chase asked as Chief shook his head..
“No, Chase. Let them be, they’re expected to have a baby soon,” Chief spoke kindly.
“I don’t highly understand, sir,” Chase spoke monotonically as Chief sighed not wanting to give Chase a lecture.
Then a vehicle crashed down some trees before going down the road.
“Now that is something to go after, Chase,” Chief says as Chase began driving after the vehicle.
Then Chief called the rest of the team of the vehicle that was heading to the Mayor’s home.  Reaching there, only for the vehicle to get crushed by a robot. The others came to see the robot until Skylar came.  Skylar and Cody looked at the robot.
“I say burn it with hell flames, but the Mayor is to trusting without even caring,” Skylar commented as the Mayor went up to the robot.
“Mayor, are you alright?,” Chief questioned as the Mayor glared at him.
“This robot saved my life!,” The Mayor said as Skylar snorted a laugh.
“I can call this a set up,” Skylar remarked as the mayor glared at him.
“Are you asking to be banned from here!?,” Mayor asked.
“Sure, arrest me,” Skylar says.
“You’re such an arrogant for your friends here,” The mayor grumbled.
“Such a young man willing to help out?,” A voice says.
“Cut the damn chase, Morocco, I’ll be arresting you by now, but others words said otherwise,” Skylar seethes as the man chuckled.
“It’s Doctor Morocco to you, Skylar,” He seethes as Skylar sneered.
“Pu-lease, over my dead body into a furnace and into bloody hell works fine by me,” Skylar says sarcastically.
“Skylar, that’s enough,” Chief says as Skylar rolled his eyes.
“Whatever,” Skylar replied as he went to his car.
Morocco looked at Skylar with making a hand over his face to change his expression.  Skylar uses his middle finger to rub his eyes that Morocco glared at him before leaving.
“How does Skylar know Morocco?,” Kade asked.
“Oh we met back at the Mainland, we were always enemies and foes,” Morocco says.
“He lies! We used to be friends until this jackass backstabbed me that I have to arrest him with charges of fraud!,” Skylar shouted as Morocco looked at the blue orange car.
“You haven’t even change your style,” Morocco sighed as Skylar rolled his eyes.
“Contest of who are better,” Morocco added as Skylar looked at Chief.
“Rules?,” Chief asked as Morocco shrugged.
“I suggest Skylar can make the contest even,” Morocco says as Skylar sighed.
“One, don’t hurt other people and it include property damage, two, if so then it will be a lose, three, be the fastest or so on your speed to which it doesn’t even matter, four, make sure what you are doing or get eliminated, five, ask for help if so wanted, six, no playing dirty” Skylar explained.
“Rules are now set, let us begin,” Morocco says with a small smirk.
“And I will be the judge!,” The mayor says proudly.
“I like to see that pride fall and crumble,” Skylar spoke making the Mayor glare at him.
“Skylar shall be the referee,” Morocco spoke as Skylar snorted.
“Oh you’re so nice, old man,” Skylar says sarcastically.
“Skylar, don’t do anything dumb,” Kade said bluntly.
“Skylar is known for keeping his words, Kade Burns, I heavily suggest you keep it shut,” Morocco pointed out as Skylar rolled his eyes.
“Alright, you all better get going and out of my sight right now, Cody will be with me, and remember no cheating…. That includes you, Médecin,” Skylar says giving the doctor a hard stare.
“Of course, Mr. Fusée,” Morocco spoke as he went to his robot.
Everyone left to find a rescue as Skylar and Cody went to the Firehouse.  Skylar and Cody watch from the screens as they are doing their job.
“Morbot, uno, team, cero,” Skylar says as Cody look at Skylar before looking at the monitor.
“-Spanish, really-,” Kade asked as Skylar looked at the screen.
“I’ll smack this microphone if I have to break your ears or everyone ears,” Skylar says as he press a button getting a view of the docks.
“The Morbot looks very dangerous,” Cody says as Skylar deactivated the microphone to mute.
“Do I need to do something about it?,” Skylar asked as Cody look up at him.
“You don’t have to, Sky… It’s a choice,” Cody says as Skylar nodded and activated the microphone.
“To be honest, the Morbot can’t even tell the difference between dangerous or pacifist,” Skylar pointed out.
“How are you even sure?,” Dani asked as Skylar looked at the monitor.
“Over my ass and rainbows, the Morbot is acting very brutal,” Skylar remarked making Kade snort a laugh.
“Skylar, do you mind if you outside for a bit?,” Cody asked as Skylar walked out.
“Skylar speak languages?,” Blades questioned as Cody laugh a bit.
“He speak Spanish and French because of his parents,” Cody says.
“What do we do now? The Morbot got more points than us,” Boulder says with a worried expression.
Hours later, the team came back.
“So?,” Cody asked as Chief shook his head.
“We’re on shut down,” Chief says as Skylar drove his car into the garage.
“Nothing much to do now?,” Skylar asked getting out of his car.
“Where were you?,” Kade asked bluntly.
“I was talking with a friend of mine, got some information about the Morbot,” Skylar says.
“How?,” Graham asked as Skylar rolled his eyes.
“I can talk about it, but not where it came from,” Skylar says.
“Hacker,” Kade says as Skylar laughed a bit.
“Good guess, but no,” Skylar said as they looked at him.
“The Morbot is armed with weapons to which it’s reach melting point for iron,” Skylar started explaining, “They also have the capability to fly, but the steering position is way off which means it’s bound to create property damage and if it hits a building full of people.”
“Then it would crush them alive,” Graham finished as Skylar nodded.
“How can we explain the Mayor that?,” Kade asked as Skylar thought for a bit.
“That’s a 1 percent chance of that even happening,” Skylar pointed out as Cody thought for a bit.
“Sky, we’re on shut down, so don’t try doing anything rash,” Chief says as Skylar sighed.
“I’m a blunt person and make rash descisions to rather put my life on the line or others, but more preferablely me. Got a problem about it? I can go outside and go murder the damn thing,” Skylar says as everyone look at him in disbelief.
“You may look dead inside, but please try to hold that urge and don’t do anything until we have to,” Chief says as Skylar gave Chief a murderous glare.
“You’re first warning,” Skylar replied coldly as he walked outside.
Chief sighed before Dani went up to him.
“When did he go all cold?,” Heatwave asked.
“Skylar’s like that ever since I saw him back on the mainlands 3 years ago, he was never this cold until now,” Chief says.
“How about angry? Is it like Heatwave?,” Blades asked as Heatwave look at Blades offended to which Blades gave him a nervous smiled.
“More different than Heatwave’s, but it’s more bad and unexpected,” Cody shortly explained.
“First stage?,” Chase asked as Cody looked at the door.
“Coldness, then isolation, then to uncontrollable emotion meaning he will have unexpected mood swings, then going silent which means he can be deadly that we can’t have anyone he hates near him, and last being his disappearance,” Cody says as Skylar came back.
“You came back that quickly,” Kade says bluntly.
“I dented it’s leg that the Mayor try to get my arrested, but he doesn’t know I work with the police,” Skylar shrugging as he took out his phone that was ringing and answer it.
“I don’t do politicians,” Skylar says in a joking matter.
“Real funny, where are you?!,” The voice demanded.
“I have the week off, I’ll be back before you know it,” Skylar says in a serious tone.
“You better, young man,” the voice says.
“Sure, tell my uncle about that crap and he understand it clearly that he gave me the week to deal with it, so bite me old man,” Skylar says in a monotone voice.
“Threatening your peer?,” The voice growled.
“Nah really? I didn’t know you join the Pentagon, so how the deep sake of hell did you do?,” Skylar asked with an interested look.
“Something you shouldn’t know,” The voice says as Skylar had a devilish smile.
“Let me guess, you joined because you hated my family guts?,” Skylar says as the voice stuttered for a word.
“Don’t worry, I won’t say a single say unless you do something stupid that will lead you to breaking your limbs,” Skylar says darkly with a smile on his face before ending the call.
“He’s scary,” Blades whispered to Dani who nodded.
Skylar sighed before looking through his phone, then walk over to his car.
“Are you that scary?,” Cody asked as Skylar shrugged.
“Being prone to violence is a problem on my own, I can’t stop it from attracting my inner demon,” Skylar says getting on the hood of his car.
“You need help, Skylar” Cody says as Skylar looked at Cody.
“What can you help with when there isn’t anything to reach out to? Everyone should know there’s no way of helping my sorry ass,” Skylar says as he taking out a foam cup from his car.
Drinking from the cup, he sips slowly.  Then he sighed before looking at the family.
“Yes? I see the damn stares into my very core unless you want my stare in your dreams,” Skylar says annoyed as the team went upstairs.
“Cody, get the robots to the bunker,” Chief ordered as Cody nodded.
“Sky, we to talk,” Chief spoke as Skylar laugh a bit.
“We can talk later, I got things I need to take care of,” Skylar says as he sip some tea from the foam cup.
“Like what?,” Kade asked as Skylar hummed.
“Homework,” Skylar replied making Kade dumbfounded.
“I thought you’re done with school,” Kade says bluntly.
“Oh my bad, let me correct myself, police homework,” Skylar corrected as Kade shut his mouth.
“Like what?,” Cody asked as Skylar shrugged.
“Don’t worry about it,” Skylar says as Cody got the Rescue Bots to the bunker.
“He seems very persistent of keeping things quiet,” Chase pointed out.
“Can’t blame him, he has a lot of secrets he keeps to himself, but hopefully he doesn’t mind about you guys,” Cody says as Heatwave sighed.
“Does he have to know?,” Blades asked as Cody nodded.
“He’s family even Uncle Wooddrow, who I guess will come soon,” Cody says as Boulder nodded.
“Now Morocco took over the Lab, what do we do now?,” Heatwave asked as Cody shrugged.
“Find another hobby?,” Cody says in a questioning tone as Boulder looked around.
“I found a pho- AHH,” Blade screamed as a small robot ran passed them.
The small robot ran over to Cody.
“Paren uds!,” Cody says as the small robot beeps and clicks while it nuzzles his leg.
“It listens to you?,” Heatwave asked as Cody nodded.
“It’s Skylar’s phone or little friend, just don’t tell Dad about it or it’s gonna be trouble,” Cody says as he pets the small robot.
“What about it makes it important?,” Boulder asked as he poke the small robot.
It transformed into a small tank shooting Boulder.
“Paren uds,” Cody says as the small robot transformed back and hisses.
“Very defensive,” Heatwave says as the small robot hisses at him.
Then the elevator came down, the Rescue bots put their visor on as they went straight.  Skylar came out and went to Cody before seeing the small robot.
“I was looking for him,” Skylar mumbled loud enough for Cody to hear.
“Make sure dad doesn’t see it,” Cody says as Skylar nodded.
“I know, don’t worry,” Skylar says as the small robot climbed on his leg.
“I need to teach him English….,” Skylar lightly complained as Cody giggled.
“You do, you taught him a lot of Spanish and French,” Cody laugh as Skylar rolled his eyes and huff playfully.
“But he’s my baby and you can’t tell me how to raise him,” Skylar says with a funny tone of voice as Cody laughs.
“Anyways, thanks for finding him,” Skylar says as Cody nodded.
“Work to do?,” Cody guessed as Skylar shrugged.
“I wanna die, but fam be like ‘Nah, let’s chain you up and smack me with chakala’,” Skylar says as Cody laughs before Skylar left with the small robot.
“What’s a chalk-la?,” Blades asked as Cody giggles.
“Cha-ka-la, it’s a punishment, but hitting with a sandal or shoe,” Cody says as Heatwave snorted a laugh.
“A shoe, seriously?,” Heatwave asked as Cody nodded with a small smile.
Cody then went to the elevator upstairs.  Seeing Skylar working on paper while on a laptop.
“Serious work?,” Cody asked as Skylar nodded.
“Very,” Skylar replied not looking away from the screen while working the paperwork.
“You need sleep, Skylar,” Cody says as Skylar sighed a bit.
“As if I can, can you get me some hot water?,” Skylar asked as Cody nodded and went upstairs to the kitchen.
While Cody was upstairs, Skylar was silent before hearing voices from the bunker.  Hearing voices, a tv cartoon was on, and a wooden dummy getting beaten…
“They must be hiding something about the robots, but seeing the insignia…. They’re Autobots, but I have never seen that before, I might need to ask Ironhide or Lockjaw about it,” Skylar grumbled as Cody came back.
“Here you go,” Cody says as Skylar smiled a bit.
“Thanks, Codes,” Skylar says as he put his teabag in the cup.
“I guess I’ll learn about it soon,” Skylar mumbled before getting himself hit by the small robot.
“I know, I kn- Ow,” Skylar groaned as the small cybertronian playfully bit his finger.
“Geez, you’re more playful today…. Cody, do you mind?,” Skylar asked as Cody nodded and took the small cybertronian.
Then Cody left to the bunker, making Skylar question if the vehicle transforming are cybertronians or not.
