Jungkook's baby [COMPLETE]

Baby.

"Sorry we took so long Jimin." Jungkook spoke above the noise in the corridors as he approached, his hand tightly holding Yn's. Jimin smiled kindly, his eyes almost vanishing in happiness when he locked eyes on little Yn, hiding a fraction behind Jungkook, her tiny frame protected by his big one.
"Ah you have a little Yn with you." Jimin teased ruffling Yn's hair and Jungkook put his arm around her shoulder pulling her close.
"Yup. She'd been knocked down in the hallway by some first year in a hurry."

Jimin frowned and tucked Yn's hair behind her ear.
"Are you okay bubs?" Jimin asked bending down slightly as he kissed her forehead and Jungkook couldn't help but look away, his eyes focusing on the surrounding mass of students leaving their classrooms for the day. He broke Jimin's tender moment a second or so later.
"So, shall we get going? The others will no doubt be worried about where Yn is." Jungkook muttered, sliding his hand through his wet hair and ruffling it into place as he took Yn's hand back into his own.

He couldn't deny how much his heart sank when Yn took Jimin's hand in her spare one, the three walking down the corridors swinging their hands together happily until they made it to the doors and all stopped looking down at the lashing rain. The silence between them speaking volumes.

Jungkook looked at Yn.
Yn looked at Jimin.
Jimin looked back at Jungkook who shrugged.
"Guess i'll take her then." Jungkook acted nonchalant but his heart was soaring. He loved moments like this, being one of the strongest of the group had its perks.

"Ready baby?" He asked holding his arms out and Yn nodded anxiously, glancing at the miserable weather as she was scooped into his arms and placed on his hip, both his arms wrapped around her keeping her close. Jimin pulled off his hoodie plopping it over the pairs heads to keep Yn dry as they made a break for it and ran across the grounds to reception where there was a big awning that they always met under.

"Will the girls be there already baby?" Jungkook called. The noise of the rain hammering the floor and the slaps of their shoes on the wet pavement loud enough that normal voices would be washed away in the typhoon currently letting loose on the school. 
"Uh-huh. I think so!" She called back arms up holding Jimin's jumper over their heads as they ran. They quickly made it to reception and the two boys were much relieved to find the girls already there with the rest of their group.

Jungkook set Yn on her feet, tugging her uniform back into place to neaten her up as Jimin shook out his wet hair, laughing at how soaked he was, both men a little breathless from running.
"Well, I would offer to share my umbrella but it seems a little pointless now.." Akano muttered as she nudged Jimin playfully while Yoongi was messing up Ley's hair in a flirtatious manner.

Jungkook watched little Yn as she smiled happily at her rowdy group of friends, Yoongi flirting with Ley, Jimin messing around and pointing at his soaked hair and laughing with Akano, Namjoon waving Jin's phone around playfully as he was caught in a headlock by him and Taehyung and Hoseok chatting to Koneko animatedly about something they'd seen on TV the night before. 
"You alright?" Jungkook asked stepping up beside her as he placed a large hand on her head.

Her big amber eyes met his and she nodded happily.
"Are we going to play soon?"
"I think so, yeah."
"But it's raining..." Bewilderment clouding her face and Jungkook couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah I know. It's okay though. You can go with Yoongi in his car and meet the rest of us there." He had a smile on his face but his heart ached. He wanted to hold her tiny hand and walk there with her. Yoongi came walking over with his arm around Ley's shoulder.
"You coming with me baby?" He asked happily and Yn nodded.
"Yup yup!" A big smile on her face as she rocked back and forth on her heels, her shoulders jiggling in excitement.
"Ahah! Good girl. Come on then cutie." Yoongi's gummy grin on his face as he held out his hand and she took it happily, counting to three loudly ready to run to his car while the rest of them walked out into the rain in pairs under umbrellas.

He was happy Yn was happy but he felt that awful pang in his chest as he watched her run off into the distance with Yoongi laughing and shouting about the rain. Jin stepped up beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"C'mon dude. We'll meet them there." He smiled offering a spare umbrella which Jungkook took, his eyes still fixated on the last spot he'd seen Yn run too and not a moment later she came whizzing past in Yoongi's two seater sports car, waving happily as they zoomed past. 

He stepped out into the rain, the sound of it on the umbrella impossibly loud as he put it up and placed it over his head, shaking his jealous thoughts out of his head as he jogged to catch up to the others who were already walking ahead, laughing and shouting happily despite the miserable rain and the chill hanging in the air.
