The days leading up the wedding were blissful. He hung out with friends when he was off work, often playing Xbox online with Samuel and Paul - just like the old days before aliens came and tried to mess everything up. Whenever he wasn't with them, or hanging out with Estavon and Javen out at clubs trying to help them 'score', he was always with Anora. They had allot of fun together. And when they weren't just having fun together, they were having lots of sex. He was surprised she wasn't pregnant. He hoped she would be soon.
Time passed like this, at a heavenly pace, and before he knew it, he was about to be married to Anora, on the outskirts of Ohio, by the Ohio river. It was a beautiful evening, the sun was just about to begin setting, just like they wanted. Not too hot, and it was a beautiful view. It was weird to see everyone all dressed up. Samuel, Estavon and Javen, who joked around amongst themselves, Kelly and some of her family - what with them coming over to help watch the babies so Kelly could attend with Samuel, who was Nelson's best man. Kelly was also Anora's bridesmaid. "Damn bro," Estavon said to him as he awaited Anora. "That ass must be something serious bro for you to wife it up." Nelson chuckled amusedly. "Guess that's one way to put it." "Hey one of the girls just texted me back!" Javen said suddenly, and excitedly. "What?? You actually got a reply?" Estavon asked, clearly surprised.
It was then that Samuel tapped his shoulder. "Hey man. I think your wife's coming," he told him. Nelson felt extremely nervous as Anora came walking down the aisle. In his eyes, she was unbelievably beautiful. He would always remember her in this way, how she was in this moment, approaching him. Her pearlescent black hair flowing freely in the wind down her back, her illustrious satin wedding dress complimenting her gorgeous, sparkling emerald green eyes. She eventually made her way to Nelson's side, where they stood before the preacher, who was conveniently enough, Tyler the gunsmith. Apparently he used to be a priest before joining the EED. "Looks like you're about to be Anora Hamilton," He told her, smiling shyly as he took in all her beauty. She nodded. "I thought you'd never ask," she replied teasingly. The evening was a blur of emotions for him. He felt tears of pure joy coming in his eyes as Tyler began the ceremony. The next thing he knew Anora was saying her vows.
"Nelson Hamilton," she began softly, "I almost can't believe how far we've come together. I remember when I first met you... all young and eager and soooo sexy." Nelson felt himself getting flustered, and a few people laughed and awed as he couldn't help himself as a tear or two ran down his face. He had never been quite so happy before. "Yet the more I got to know you, I saw there was more to you than how attractive you are. You're sweet, caring, funny, your always right there when I need, or want you. You always know just what to say to make a girl fall in love with you....
Before I knew it, I couldn't imagine a life without you. Your comfort, your friendship, your body.. I just fell hopelessly in love. I figured it'd happen eventually... I'm just so glad it was with you, babyboy." Anora the cupped his face in her hands, and kissed him ever so tenderly. "I love you, Nelson."

"I love you too," he told her.

He was just about to say his vows when all of sudden, he was cut off by a loud, terrible screeching sound. The ground around them began to tremble. It was then, that in the sky, almost right next to Samuel's house, an absolutely gigantic extraterrestrial spaceship - bigger than anything they have ever seen - descended into the atmosphere. Dozens and dozens of smaller spacecraft began flying out from underneath it, attacking Cincinnati, Ohio. Javen gaped at what he was witnessing. "It's aliens mane!!" He exclaimed. "Holy shit no!!!" Samuel exclaimed. "The babies!!" He immediately began darting off. "Go help him," Anora said, irritation and sadness coloring her voice, "I need to get to HQ. But be careful.... I've never seen this many... or one that big. It's like a full scale invasion. Please don't get yourself killed..." "The same to you," Nelson told her. "I'll meet you there." He noticed a tear escape her face. "Don't worry, after all this we'll be husband and wife. We got this baby." He kissed her softly before running after to Samuel. "I'll help you," he told him, barely catching up to him before Samuel zoomed off. "This is freaking crazy man," Samuel said, instantly driving away as fast as his corvette could go the second Nelson closed the door. "I don't know what I would do if I lost them. I can't lose them. Please God, not like this.." As they sped through town, Nelson noticed all the havoc the aliens were causing to Cincinnati. "Damn that Cherry," Nelson muttered. It didn't take them long to reach Samuel's house. The babies, Arthur and Mary, were likely on the very top floor. "You gotta help me get them in the backseat," Samuel said hurried as the sprinted out of the car. They rushed to the living room where the babies were on the couch, and Kelly's sister was looking frightened out the window. "What's going on out there!?" She asked them fearfully. "Aliens!" Samuel yelled. "I can't explain right now..." "What do you mean aliens??" She asked, cutting him off, "It can't be! How can there be aliens??" Samuel sighed with irritation and ran up to get the babies. "Listen!" He told her commandingly, "We don't have time -" but he was cut off by the wall directly in front of them blowing up, sending debris and everything going inside. Kelly's sister was impaled but a sharp piece of metal through her chest. She didn't make it. An extraterrestrial craft hovered in front of there house where the wall had gotten blown up. Samuel used his body as a shield for the babies, and luckily they take any real damage. "Oh my God!" He exclaimed, looking at Kelly's now dead sister. Samuel picked the crying babies up before running back down the stairs out the door, Nelson close behind him. The entire house was about to collapse as the UFO fired a laser at it. Since Samuel's hands were full, he couldn't open the door, so Nelson opened it. Just as he did, the ceiling collapsed above them, about to fall and crush all of them. "Oh shit!!" Nelson exclaimed. "Come on!!" He yelled to Samuel, waiting outside. It was too fast for Samuel. The house collapsed in him, but not before he tossed the twin babies towards Nelson in a last ditch effort to save them. Nelson struggled but just barely managed to catch both Arthur and Mary somehow. They wept loudly. He ran back towards the rubble after putting the babies in the backseat of the corvette. Samuel was buried in the flaming debris of the place he'd once called home. Only his head and hand stuck out. Without a word he rushed to his aid. "Imma get you out of here!" He told Samuel, "I got your children in the backseat already. Only a few walls remained standing over them, and the fire was spreading. "I'm numb everywhere.." Samuel mumbled quietly. Nelson began to realize he didn't have much time to try to get Samuel out of the flaming debris. The fires were getting closer to them, and the walls next to them began to shake over their head. Samuel gazed sadly at Nelson, then to the corvette. "I... I hope they'll... remember their father..." "No... no..." Nelson said, shaking his head, tears streaming down his face. "You'll be there to remind them everyday.." Samuel already had tears flowing down his face. He sniffed loudly. "I'm glad we were about to be friends... I enjoyed having you over.." he told Nelson sadly. "Nelson please..." he begged hurriedly, "Tell Kelly I love her.... and.. and... c-could you please tell the kids that their dad loves -" but he never finished his last sentence, because the fire spread too quickly, the rest of the house collapsed on him, and it knocked Nelson back.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" He screamed desolately. "NOOOO!!!!!!!" Samuel's painful cries for help were muffled, but still audible from under the flames. The flames smelled of burnt flesh.
After a while, he slowly stood up, he face and suit covered in ashes, tears and blood. He knew what he had to do. He had to keep Samuel's children safe. He took the wheel of the corvette and sped off towards the EED HQ. He struggled to try to remain calm. His vision flickered from green to normal. They had just killed his best friend. Everyone who was at the wedding now took refuge at the EED HQ. Commander Moran, Paul, Anora, Miranda, Tyler, and Kelly were separated from the rest when he got down there. Immediately Kelly asked, "Where's Sammy?" Nelson didn't immediately respond. He struggled with himself, tears still flowing out of his eyes. "Oh my God," Anora gasped. "Stop lying, it isn't funny." Kelly said, tears appearing in her eyes. "Where is he?!" "They... they fucking killed him." "No...." Kelly said again, "N...No...." she screamed a horrible cry, beginning to sob uncontrollably. Tyler escorted her away from everyone. One of Kelly's family members came to take the babies. "I'll go bring them to her," he told Nelson, before hurrying after Tyler. Paul cursed violently under his breath. Miranda frowned deeply. "W-what happened?" She asked. Nelson merely shook his head. "I can't right now." He told her. Even Commander Moran seemed upset. "Damn those fucking alien bastards..." he muttered. "Tyler, go get the rockets," he said to him when Tyler returned. "We already killed their leader. Let's fuck up the rest of them and end this shit once and for all. Let's blow them the fuck off our planet for the last time." "Another Atomic bomb?" Miranda asked. "Good thinking, Skylar. Already on it. We've ordered an evacuation. Everyone that's not fighting here will be sent through the underground tunnels to escape to the next HQ in another city, a safe distance away."
