Danny woke up with a huge headache. He felt like he just touched the metal of his lamps plug in while he was plugging it in,
(I've done it before, hurts like a bitch) he then took in his surroundings, he was at the hospital.
"M-mom? D-dad? J-Jazz?" He croaked out desperate for some water. All three were previously in chairs but now surrounded the boy, jazz holding him up gently, Jack holding him some water, and his mother squeezing his hand to make sure he could still feel.
"How are you Danny my boy? Feeling better?"
"Can you feel my hand?"
"Can you remember anything?"
Danny took a second to wrap his mans around what was said, "I'm feeling fine dad, I can feel you mom loosen your grip a little please, and I remember walking into the portal then pain."
They all sighed in relief and jazz went to get the doctor.
The doctor walked in and said, "I'm glad you're awake Mr. Fenton. You've been asleep for about a week now." Danny's mouth flew open in shock, "I'm going to see if there's any nerve damage and I'm going to apply pressure so let me know if you can feel anything. Then we're going to see if you can still move." Danny nodded and the doctor applied pressure everywhere and Danny nodded, saying he could feel it. He could move his hands and write legibly, but when he was walking one ankle became weak.
"It seems like this ankle has been injured and healed badly. But not from a break, like it was sprained and then the nerves got damaged so it didn't heal right." Danny then spoke, "When I fell, I tripped over some wires then I hit the button, shocking me." The doctor nodded along saying that was probably it. "You'll probably be able to walk with only a slight limp, I'm sorry we can't really do much about it."
"It's fine, I'm just grateful you guys helped me!" Danny said, then giving them a famous Danny smile.
