~Aphmau's POV
I've always wondered what it would feel like to be In Love.
My current boyfriend, Kai treats me like trash. He's always cancelling plan last minute just to go hang with 'the guys' and never makes time for me. Not only that but he's always fat shaming me and makes me feel self-conscious.
But that's not the point. The point IS, that we're FINALLY going on a date for the first time in 3 weeks and decided to meet up at Olivia Garden. BuT gUeSs wHaT! My Douche of a boyfriend stood me up...AGAIN.
I've been getting weird stares from others, mostly sympathetic looks. The waitress is constantly asking if I'm ready to order but I keep on asking you for more time. This is so embarrassing. But as I sit here alone I realise something. I can do so much better than that sadistic douchebag of a boyfriend.
"Ma'am are you ready to order yet?"
The waiter asks me for the fourth time, honestly I don't blame her.
I'd be annoyed too. After hearing some giggles coming from the table on my right I look and see the average self absorbed girls you'd find in any cliche bar. I'm dreading coming here
"Just give me a bit more time, I'm sure he'll be here soon." What a lousy excuse, I know for a fact he won't show up. I'm just giving myself false hope.
I decided enough was enough. As I grab my phone, put it in my purse and stand up, ready to leave. A man about 6'5 come to me and leaves a peck on the cheek.
What. Da. Firecracker
"Hey babe, sorry I'm late. Traffic was crazy." He then leans into my ear.
"I'm Aaron, just go with it yeah? Whoever didnt bother to show up is a dick. After this, dump his ass"
"Trust me I was planning on doing so" I say, and we both begin laughing.
"I'm Aphmau. Friends call me aph, pleased to make your acquaintance" I giggle.
"Well Aph, I just wanted to point out that you look gorgeous tonight."
My heart skips a beat, I think I know now. I think I know how it feels to be, In Love. Talk about love at first sight.
My writers block has gone! I'm a writing machine! Turns out binge watching Jane the Virgin really helped out💀 Anyways! I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, sorry it was so short, just want you guys to know that I'm working on something BIG sOoO, ya :))
