Konumunikari sighed.

"Another Ghoul attack?" She said to herself watching the TV above the counter. She was in a small gas station shop a couple blocks away from the hospital.

"I wonder how Kaizu is doing?" She said after paying and getting back to her car and driving to the hospital. She cycled through the radio stations until she settled on one.

"And now for news at 9. CCG investigators have issued out a warning about the recent Ghoul attack and how the Ghoul is still at large. Authorities are urging civilians to stay away from any dark places alone and be in there home by dark."

Konumunikari stopped the car as she was stuck behind some red lights.

"These Ghouls. Why must they attack innocent humans? I mean surely we could at least work out some sort of peace agreement?" She sighed driving again.

She reached the hospital and parked up her car. She got out and took the flowers out she bought for Kaizu and locked the car. She looked at the flowers as she walked in the hospital and she frowned slightly.

"I hope he likes them."

Konnie signed in and walked up the stairs to Kaizu's room. As she walked in she was greeted with Kaizu's weak smile.

"Hey Konnie." He said weakly.

"Hey Kaz." Konumunikari replied putting the flowers on the bedside table. "How you holding up?" She said as she sat down on a chair and put her hand on his.

"Doctors said that I'm stable and hopefully shouldn't encounter any future problems." He said coughing and smiling weakly.

A tear fell from Konnie's eye and he gently wiped it away.

"Hey, don't cry lil' sis. Even though I'm like this, I promise I'm not going to leave you behind. Mom and dad are gone, and it's now my job to take care of you, okay?" He said gently with a crooked smile. Konnie smiled through her slow tears.

"Okay brother." She sobbed. "I believe you." She bent over and hugged him. And he stroked her hair softly.

"I love you Brother Kaizu."

"I love you too, lil sis."
