Konumunikari sat on the steps of the steel mug drinking a cup of coffee. Three weeks have passed and she was still thinking about what Torini said to her.
"Joining the ghoul society can be dangerous seeming as you were human before, there's no doubt that this is going around as some sort of rumour. Make sure you're careful. If any of the big gangs get to you, your life could change forever"
"My life could change forever huh?" She took a sip. "It's already been changed, couldn't get any worse" she sighed.
"Hey sweetie" Kat walked down the steps and sat next to her.
"Oh hey Kat" Konnie replied back.
"Are you okay?" She asked. "Looks like there's something on your mind."
Konnie put her cup down and looked down at the concrete. Kat lifted her chin up and held her hands.
"Hey. It'll be alright. I know it's been a rough couple weeks trying to fit into your new body you could say. You have us, we'll make sure your okay."
Konnie looked into her eyes.
"I promise, everything will be alright" Kat smiled.
Konnie felt a tear drop and Kat hugged her tight.
"Stay strong little soldier, everything will be alright."
