Chapter 27
Will you be My Prom Date
The next morning, Miyuki woke up, and checked everything she needed for tonight. She was drinking her coffee and looking out of the window when suddenly a thought hit her. "OH sh-" she got up and bit her lower lip. "I was so freakin busy in preperation for prom and graduation party comittee that I FORGOT ABOUT MY OWN PROM DATE!!
She chuckled to herself. "Such a stupid i am!! I havent said yes to anyone yet nor did i asked someone to be my prom date!! OMG!" Thats when her bag lying on the couch got her attention. "I FORGOT TO OPEN THE BOX THAT YOONGI GAVE ME!! OoOoO No!!" Miyuki quickly jumped, got up and took out that box. "Ah! He didnt had to do this for graduation. And he didnt got a chance to tell me all the surprising news he had." Miyuki smiled as she remembered last night.
Miyuki unwrapped the box and opened it, on top, there was a poloroid of their graduation picture. She couldnt stop smiling because of how lucky she is to always have yoongi by herside. Then there was Jhit's new Producer, Agust D's first autograph card. Miyuki giggled as she saw it! "How thoughful of yoongi!!" Then there were little chocolates. "Chocolates can never Go wrong! Classic!" She chuckled and ate one. And at last, there was a card. She opened the card and read, something that she didnt expected and expected at the same time. "Ahh Yoongi!! How are you always so thoughful and caring." She was smiling and blushing but slight tears warmed up in her eyes.

"We are the only ones who can do something like this!! Asking to go out on prom as a date a few hours before prom lol" she giggled and Got up to keep the box in cupboard carefully. After that she texted yoongi.
//Miyuki :
How are you always so thoughtful? Can you like see the future or something??!! ♡
//Yoongi :
Haha, i wish i could but i dont need that, i am Min Yoongi genius you know. Btw took you long enough!
//Miyuki :
Yeah sorry! WAIT! Dont tell me You doubted for a minute that i wont say yes cause i didnt replied earlier!!

Ummm maybe, maybe not...

Okay okay, i didnt, but even if you wouldnt have said yes, Your Happiness is first for me Miyuki, you know that right?

Oh sorry, i know you are an emotional princess and i am not there! So dont think about that okay? I'll be there at 6pm ♡
Miyuki sighed and took a deep breath, her expressions a bit glum. "I am not scared of anything more than losing you yoongi!" She whispered to herself and closed her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek.
It was almost six and Miyuki just finished getting ready. She called Jennie to ask, if she's ready too. Jennie wasnt picking up the call at first but when she needed it left Miyuki shocked.
"Jennie what happened to your voice?? Are you okay?!" Miyuki asked.
"I- i am fine, you should be at prom right?" Jennie answered in a low, emotionless voice while sniffing.
"Jennie!! Tell me what happened??! What do you mean? We both are supposed to be there not just me." Miyuki asked worriedly.
"I wont be able to come, i am sorry Miyuki. Uh, actually i am not feeling well...i- i got fever last night, and cold too, i really cant come." Jennie answered while sniffing.
"But Jennie how did all this happen...? Do You want me to come at your house?? You are sick right, i should-" Miyuki asked with concern, but jennie interupted her.
"No Miyuki!! What are you saying?! Its okay, mom is at home, i'll be fine. You Dont HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME. "
"uhm...i- are you sure? Jennie-" Miyuki said with a really worried and upset tone.
"HMM! YOU SHOULD LEAVE NOW" Jennie replied.
"Uh- ok , yeah, yoongi will be on his way..." Miyuki still couldnt beleive that something like this is happening.
"Yoongi's coming? Oh your date. I hope sehun finds someone else.Okay then! If you care for me Miyuki! Please enjoy alot at this last event without thinking about me!" Jennie said with dissapointment and sadness.
Miyuki couldnt process everything, she had plans with her childhood best friend, they shopped together, planned together and were so excited for their last event. But she maintained herself, cause she had to, because Jennie would blame herself for spoiling Miyuki's last event, so she had to enjoy it.
Miyuki was lost in thoughts when the bell rung. She got up, picked her handbag and went to the door. Yoongi was waiting at the door, fixing his hair one last time with flowers in his hands. Miyuki opened the door with a shy smile, and thats the moment when yoongi forgot to blink. He was staring at her in awe and he got out of his thoughts when Miyuki gently called his name. "Yoongi?" Yoongi became shy and smiled. "Ah sorry, its just, you are looking really beautiful, that i-" he said shyly. Miyuki giggled on his cute reaction. "Really? You like it? " she asked adorably. "Everything about you is perfect." He said with a gummy smile and gave her the flowers. She started blushing on hearing those words and took the flowers. Then yoongi opened car's door for her, and then he started to drive.
They were on their way, when yoongi started the conversation. "So we have matching outfits, is this a coincidence or by any chance you had me as your date in mind." He asked playfully, still foucuing on driving.
"Well...i might have thought about your favourite colour while shopping, who knows." She replied and they both chuckled.
Their prom Night was going really good, they met all their college friends, took lots of pictures, played games, and had dinner. Now it was dance time, and everyone started dancing with their friends or dates. Miyuki and yoongi were about to start dancing too but the music changed to a romantic slow song. Yoongi asked Miyuki's hand for dancing and she accepted with a shy smile. He wrapped his arm around Miyuki's waist and pulled her close to him gently. The lights got dim and they were dancing really close to each other. The dance was coming to an end, yoongi twirled her elegantly and then pulled her close, there faces were just inches away. Miyuki's heartbeat fastened, she was comfortable with yoongi but never got to expirence something like this. Yoongi started coming even more close, and Miyuki closed her eyes. She opened her eyes when yoongi just gave her a kiss on cheek. Blush was creeping up in her cheeks and they both just smiled shyly. She knew yoongi was really caring, romantic and a soft person from inside but he's just a bit shy to express everything openly in public and that was one of the things Miyuki liked about yoongi.
Later, the prom Queen and King were to be announced. Everyone was gathered around the stage. Sehun and Minnie won the prom queen and King. Everyone was claping and cheering for them. "Sehun's date was Minnie? Uhm, he might have asked her to be his date in the start, cause there are some students who came with their friends and not dates." Miyuki thought in her mind, as she remembered Jennie mentioning Sehun as her date on call. Shuhua was standing right next to Miyuki and cheering for Minnie. "You know Miyuki, Sehun proposed Minnie two weeks ago and they got engaged! And they were waiting for prom to announce this, and now they are The cutest prom queen and king couple! Right?" Shuhua told her excitedly as she was Minnie's best friend. "Minnie was sehun's date from weeks? Then why would sehun agreed to go to prom with jennie? Doesnt makes sense." Miyuki thought to herself.
Later Yoongi drove Miyuki home. Yoongi took Miyuki's hand and helped her to get out of the car cause of her dress. He was still holding his hand. "Thank you yoongi, for everything, for all those years, yesterday, today and i hope you'll give me chance to thank you always in future as well♡" Miyuki said gratefully. "Well, maybe i wont give you a chance to thank me!" He whispered softly, with a playful smile. Miyuki knew what he meant! He thinks best friends or people you love shouldnt be thanked on every little things. "Ahh yoongi!! Still, thank you for being with me, i really mean it!" Miyuki said without making eyecontact cause she was blushing and she didnt wanted yoongi to see her tomato face. Yoongi lifted her chin up gently so that she'll make eyecontact. He came closer to her, he noticed Miyuki's fastened heartbeat and breathing and smiled to himself thinking about how much effect he has on her. He placed a kiss on her cheek forehead gently. Miyuki giggled and waved him goodbye as he got into the car.
Alot of thoughts and feelings were surrounding her while she was trying to sleep. There was something different that she could feel, that wasnt there before. Something that she couldnt point out exactly, but whatever it was, it was new, and weirdly beautiful.
