Harry's P.O.V.
"Jess, what's wrong?" I took a few steps closer to her and noticed that she'd been crying. She just shook her head and tried to smile as she slightly pushed me away.
"Please Harry, leava me alone." She stuttered with a weak voice. I had no plans on doing as she said though. Instead I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close to my chest. She started crying as I held her.
"Whoever has done you wrong doesn't deserve your tears." I whispered to her as I ran my hand through her hair. "Talk to me Jess, tell me what's wrong."
"I can't. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Harry." Her voice trembled as she spoke. "Can you just sit with me for a while? I don't want to be alone..."
"Of course." We sat down on the sofa. She pulled her legs up and rested her chin on her knees as tears rolled down her rosy cheeks. "Please don't cry." I gazed into her big, sad eyes. She hid her face behind her knees and closed her eyes. I pulled her closer to me and put my arms around her; held her, comforted her. She refused to tell me the reason to why she was so sad, apparently it was 'complicated'. But isn't everything complicated?
"I'm sorry you have to deal with me now. I didn't know you were here." She whispered after she'd calmed down a little and could breathe regularly again.
"Shhh... Don't say anything." I stroked her arm with a smile. She buried her face into my neck, she was still crying. I could feel her tears on my neck. "Just listen. Whenever you feel like it, no matter how you're feeling or what it is about, you can always talk to me. Even if it's 3 am the night before a huge show." I slightly turned around to place a kiss on her soft hair. She sighed and pulled away from my embrace, turned around so she was facing me.
"I don't deserve someone like you in my life." She mumbled with a weak smile. I wiped a tear from her cheek with my thumb and placed both my hands on her cheeks.
"Don't ever, ever, say that again." I gazed into her eyes. "You are probably the best thing that has ever happened to me." I froze. Did I just say that? That wasn't supposed to come out. I stared at her in fear, waiting for her reaction. Instead of running away of freaking out like she's done so many times before, her lips pulled up in a small smile. She brought her hand up to place it on mine and I noticed something new in her eyes. I took a chance and carefully leaned in a bit to see if she would object but she didn't. I held her gaze as I leant closer and our lips were only inches away from each other. I was about to press my lips against hers when I heard the door opening. We both flinched at the sound and before I could react, Jess had already disappeared into her room.
Jessica's P.O.V.
What am I doing? Minutes ago I was crying over one boyband member and now I'm almost kissing another. What has gotten into me lately!?
"Is Jess here!?" Zayn sounded worried. I was praying that he wouldn't find me. How embarrassing that I've been bawling my eyes out over him. "And what the fuck are you doing in my room mate?" Zayn chuckled.
"I was just looking for my phone. I was about to leave. See you tomorrow man." Harry murmured and I heard him leaving.
"Bye." Zayn replied. I heard his footsteps approaching my door. He'd found me. I crawled up against the end of the bed, pulled some covers over myself and tried to hide my swollen eyes. "Jess? Can I come in?" He stuck his head inside of the room and searched for me. His eyes found me and he quickly came inside to sit down next to me.
"I'd prefer to be left alone." I mumbled.
"Have you been crying?" He loosened my grip of the covers and pulled it away. He frowned and studied me with concerned eyes.
