Alright. There has got to be a valid reason for this.
Kacchan?
Flowers?
Reading?
Pajamas???
I guess I had been mumbling like a confused lunatic because it took me a second to realize Kacchan was snapping in my face.
"What are you doing here Deku?" You could hear confusion laced with annoyance as he spoke, definitely not making eye contact. This tone of voice was different than the one he'd used at the store...
I glared at the use of my nickname and felt a vain on my forehead twitch.
"What am I doing?" I felt my eyebrow raise, "What about you Kacchan? Flowers?" I stopped to look at his face, quizzically. "and you couldn't get up to get them yourself?"
"Uh, yea about that," Kacchan rubbed the back of his head nervously, opening the door all the way. Revealing a full leg cast, like- A FULL CAST. I was shocked for a second time today-
"Uh-uh,uh" I kinda just stood ther babbling and pointing at his leg for a second. I didn't even care about my previous questions "WHAT DID YOU DO KACCHAN?" Without thinking I barged into his house.
Immediately I noticed how messy his house was. This can't all be from him just being hurt- right?
It looked like he hadn't picked up after himself since he began living here.
Amidst the clothes and plates- the counters and windowsills were lined with the plants he had ordered from my shop.
"Hey you can't just-"
"Who has been living here a rabid badger?! How do you make your house messy with THAT thing on your leg!?" I motion toward the kitchen that was unsorted and really just an all out eyesore.
"Actually," Kacchan visibly became nervous. "That was like that before I got hurt." He crossed his arms and Waddled back to the couch, obviously sulking.
-But as you'd imagine- getting on the couch is hard with a full leg cast on. So when I hear grunting, during my cleaning fest, I turned over my shoulder to see why. Of course, "Ah! What are you doing you moron!" I ran over and tried to help him but he struggled,
"Don't touch me-AH" and with that he toppled onto the couch..
Bringing me down with him. I felt myself land on his cast I immediately assumed apology postion. (A bow like stance)
"Sorry! I didn't mean to land on your cast, and I didn't mean to call you a moron either- even if you were acting like one." I continued to bow and when looked up Kacchan wasn't even looking at me.
A second of silence loomed,
"I guess you never really changed, did you Deku?" And in that moment he looked at me with unsure happiness. A small, small smile. Followed by more silence.
How is he acting so different than he did at the shop?
