Quirkless.

But not brainless.

He knew that what he was about to do was stupid, dangerous, something someone quirkless could never be expected to do.

But what he also knew was that he needed to do this for himself.

An hour earlier

Deku rummaged through his desk, rifling through all of his belongings until he found a journal he only uses to plot out hero plans.

Every time there was a big villain case he would study the situation, case by case. He was smart, he gave himself that. Of course he was never going to go through with any of these plans, but each time he wrote in here he would push the 'studying' further. Eventually he decided to push his luck, it was only a few months ago actually. Deku 'delivered' a bouquet of flowers to the direct headquarters of these villains. Just to get a closer look, study further.

Everytime since then, the villains are confused, but accept free flowers and see that Deku gets out. Of course the flowers where toxic to smell, not very, just enough to agitate the senses. He would never just let villains have expensive flowers Scott-free.

But he would also divise plans. What he would do if he had powers. What plans of infiltration, plan B's-E's. He would divise plans based around being quirkless too.

He wanted to do this, for himself, for a long time. If he failed he would finally have his answer. If he won he would count it as a win and return to his flowers, happy that he was useful just once.

Finally, the page of his book he needed:

A plan that was just dangerous enough to be a challenge, but not outright suicide.

The villain in question?

Well. This man doesn't like the word villain, he takes joy in just being called things like "evil, criminal, downright scum."

This man often claims that being called a villain has a comical feeling.

He's right. The kinds of things this man has done, corrupt.

The man's quirk is speculated to be able to control people, but just by touching the victim he can erase all positive thoughts and outright focus their thoughts on the negitives. This man has made countless people commit crimes technically of their own will and in turn they will be arrested for murder, kidnap, torture and sometimes, in a worse case scenario he can drive people to downright suicide. All while staying relatively hidden.

He has a special attack in which people cannot go within a quarter mile of him, or they are immediately put unter his spell. Nobody can get close, meaning this guy has just gone on doing what he does.

But, I have an upper hand.

I thought this would probably come in handy someday...although I thought it would be more along the lines of me handing the information over to the police, or best case the police using me to help.

Deku had been subjecting himself to the presence and aura of this man, constantly delivering flowers, being careful with not bringing anything dangerous,

Deku had somewhat gotten close to this revolting villain. He could systemically walk in if he so chose.

Now, to gather the materials. This was going to be a meticulous feat.

Present time: 8:05am

My heart was faultering. I knew this could be the last thing I do. But I want to. I'm tired of feeling powerless, being exposed to Kacchan for the past few weeks made me realize I need to act on my wants and needs. I love being a florist, but what am I if I can't go after what I want? I can't call myself powerless until proven otherwise. I don't want to be Deku, who mulls in self pity waiting for a change to just happen. I know that Kacchan would never except that either.

I looked at the pristine manor in front of me, adjusted my uniform and my cart of flowers, along with a plan.
