Chapter One

"You are fired."

The words rolled off the lips of the boss, her voice like molten steel-sharp, commanding, unyielding. She was fierce, she was relentless, and above all, she was intolerant of lies.

The world knew her name.
Nandini Murthy.

The woman who had taken the world by storm-not just as a renowned doctor in the U.S., but also as a celebrated fashion designer. Her boutique, Design By Heart, was a global sensation, admired for its originality and passion. People admired her brilliance, but feared her temper. And today... one of her employees had crossed a line.

The young employee stood trembling in her office, guilt evident in her voice.
Employee: "I'm sorry, Ma'am. I only did it for my mother... Please forgive me."

Nandini's sharp gaze cut through her like glass.
Nandini: "Really? If you were helpless, you could've come to me. I would have helped you. But you chose to lie? To steal? How dare you?"

The employee's lips quivered.
Employee: "But you already helped me once. How many times can I come begging to you?"

That was it. Nandini's fury blazed.
Nandini: "Shut the hell up! Don't you dare try to play innocent. I'll send money to your mother-but you? I'll send you to jail."

The employee gasped, stunned.
Employee: "But what did I do wrong?"

Nandini's voice turned to ice.
Nandini: "You stole my design. My blood, my sweat, my hard work-and you sold it. And now you have the audacity to ask me your fault? Pathetic. Don't worry, the police will explain."

Without hesitation, Nandini marched her through the hall, her heels striking the marble like gunshots. Within minutes, the police arrived and arrested the girl.

Turning back, Nandini faced her employees, her aura fierce and unshakable.
Nandini: "This fool dared to betray me. She claims she did it for her mother, but the truth? She sold my design because her boyfriend pushed her into it. Blind love made her destroy my work. And let me be crystal clear-NONE of you, I repeat, none of you have the right to sell my work. Ever. Got it?"

The office fell into dead silence. Heads bowed. Not a single voice dared to rise.

With her point made, Nandini stormed out-straight to her other empire.

LIFE & LOVE HOSPITAL

Unlike the fiery chaos of her boutique, this place breathed calm. Here, every doctor wore a smile, every patient felt at ease, and the very air carried kindness. Why? Because the founders built it that way.

Dr. Abhimanyu Murthy and Dr. Nandini Murthy.

He was the hospital's soul-a brilliant doctor, young yet a legend, his charm and skill making him one of the most desired physicians in the field. She, though she only visited the hospital for emergencies or her routine one-hour rounds, commanded the same respect. Together, they made the hospital a sanctuary.

But after that hour was done, Nandini always chose to return home-home to her most precious treasure.

Her son.

Yes, her son. Shocking, isn't it? The world's boldest, busiest woman-a doctor, a designer, a business tycoon-was also a mother.

But this was Nandini Murthy's story. And she would tell it herself soon enough.
