Extra Chapter 5: Summer Festival Part 1

In a couple of days Arendelle will be having the Summer Festival. The Summer Festival is always near my Aunt Anna's birthday to celebrate her birthday and the day she saved my mom and all Arendelle. I try to make it every year. This year I am inviting the VKs. I am so excited for them to meet my Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff. I have two cousins they are twins and always into mischief with Olaf. Their names are Kristen and Allen they are 12 and always pulling pranks.

"Ben you do have the next week scheduled off for both of us, right?" I said as I walked into our office.

"Yes, Lumiere and Cosworth are going to be taking sure of everything," Ben said.

"Why not Uncle Adam and Aunt Belle?"

"They have decided to come with us since they haven't been since before, we were born."

"That is amazing. It changes every year. This year mom and I are making it snow."

"I can't wait to see it."

"Don't tell the VKs it is supposed to be a surprise. I am so happy they get to come this year."

"I know Evie, Jay, and Mal are excited. But I think Carlos is nervous to meet Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff," Ben said. Technically they aren't his aunt and uncle, but they have always included them in everything we are one big family.

"I should talk to him. Who all is going anyways?"

"Well you, me, Mal, Evie, Jay, Jane, and Carlos. Lonnie had to help her mom. Doug was called home to help with some gem thing. I don't remember exactly."

"Well we will be sure to send them pictures. I am going to see if I can calm Carlos' nerves," I said as I waved goodbye. I knocked on the room Carlos and Jay were staying in. Carlos answered the door and went right back to his bed.

"Are you okay? Where is Jay?" I asked.

"Jay is out on the Tourney field to keep his moves sharp. I am fine," Carlos said. I said down on his bed and he turned over.

"Carlos, I know when something is bothering you please you can talk to me about anything."

"I don't want to go the Summer Festival in Arendelle," Carlos said sitting up.

"Why not? I have so much fun when I am there."

"I will just ruin your fun. It is better if I stay here."

"No, it won't be. Since I have been back from the Isle, I have wanted to bring you to this Festival."

"Why?"

"So, you can enjoy it with me. All the villagers show up and contribute somehow. It is there way of taking my Aunt Anna."

"I don't have anything to contribute to it."

"Carlos you don't have to. The people do it because they can and want to. I am just helping my mom this year. I hardly do anything. It is just a giant party for a couple of days you will have fun. If you are worried about Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff don't be, they are amazing. They don't judge anyone. I mean look at what happened to Aunt Anna," I said as Carlos chuckled. "You will love my cousins. They are huge video game nerds and pranksters. If they prank you. You become a part of the family."

"I will have to think of something for them then. Thanks Lily you really know how to cheer me up," Carlos said as he hugged me.

"That is in my job description. Now let me help you pack we leave the day after tomorrow," I said getting up as Carlos chuckled getting up. We got his bag out that I got him, and we laughed the whole time while packing. He got embarrassed with his underwear, so I let him pack those. Evie made everyone new clothes for the trip, so it was easy to finish packing. After we were done we just hung out until dinner. Then it was time to leave. I am so excited for the VKs to meet Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff.
