Memories flow through my head from when I first came back from the Isle.
"Lily you will never be a real princess why are you even trying," a girl said as she pushes me down.
"Why are you even trying?" a boy said. I get up and run to the pond in the castle yard. I miss Carlos and Mal. Then Isle was so much better at least people were afraid of me.
I fall to the ground and hug my knees as tears fall. Why that memory? Are all the memories going to be from then? I don't know if I can take this. Are my full powers worth these memories? I don't want them if they are going to be like this. Then another comes.
"Why is she even here?" "Why doesn't she just go back to the Isle?" "Doesn't she know no one wants her here?" I hear people say as I walk to my classes.
"You are only here because you are related to the King and Queen," a girl said.
"They should just ship you back to the Isle," another girl says as she shoves me into the locker.
Another one really? I don't want to do this even if I don't use my powers the memories come. I just want them to stop. Then I feel like I can't breathe.
"Lily," I hear a voice yell my name, but the voice seems so far away. I feel someone sit in front of me. "Listen to my voice. You can do this. I am here for you. I am not going anywhere. Please focus on my voice." I try my hardest, but the voice seems too far away. "Breathe with me. In and out." I do what the voice says. I open my eyes and notice the voice belonged to Carlos. I wrap my arms around him, and he falls onto the ground into a sitting position. He wraps his arms around me and squeezes me enough for me to feel safe.
"Carlos I can't do this anymore. The memories are too much," I said in between sobs.
"Lily you are strong you can do this. I will be here for you," Carlos said as he rubbed my back.
"How these memories are coming so random? At first, they happened when I used my powers but now it is just random," I said as I started to calm down.
"Then I will never leave your side. We are in this together I promise," Carlos said. He stands up as he starts to sing.

Carlos: ♫You know the world can see us, ♫♫In a way that's different than who we are♫ *He starts dancing*
Lily: ♫Creating space between us, till we're separate hearts♫
Both: ♫But your faith, it gives me strength, ♫♫Strength to believe♫ *Carlos take my hand as we dance together*
Carlos: ♫We're breakin' free♫
Lily: ♫We're soarin'♫
Carlos: ♫Flyin'♫
Both: ♫There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach♫
Carlos: ♫If we're tryin'♫
Both: ♫Yeah, we're breakin' free♫
Carlos: ♫Oh we're breakin' free♫♫Can you feel it building, ♫♫Like a wave the ocean just can't control♫
Lily: ♫Connected by a feeling♫♫In our very soul♫
Carlos: ♫Very soul♫
