While the two lovers where outside, Yuuto laid on the couch. His chest slowly raised and lowered in a steady rhythm. His mind was busy conducting a dream for him to enjoy.

“Woah…Why can I only see through my Reborn Eyes,” I say. I can only see blue and purple. My vision is blurry too. As if I was engulfed in water. I don’t know where I am either. All I know is there’s a gray stone wall. Am I in a castle?

I look down at myself. I’m wearing an expensive looking dark blue robe, and sapphire rings. There’s something heavy resting on my head. Whatever it was, it’s sliding down my head and covering my eyes.

“Do I have a crown on too?” I reach up and push the heavy object up.  My fingertips pressed up against, what felt like, a cool and solid crown.

“Woah.”  I took the crown off my straight black and blue hair. My hair lifts up as I did so. I brought it down in front of my face to examine it.  The crown, it’s magnificent! There are sapphire and purple diamonds on top of silver. The crown is heavy too, but it’s a beautiful band.

I put the crown back on my head. “A crown, an expensive looking robe, and rings? I must be someone of royalty,” I say to myself. I start walking around the stone chamber. My steps echoed along the walls as I approach a room. This room is different from the chamber I was just in.

“Is this a bed room?” I look around the room. There are three large windows without glass panes. There is no bed, so it can’t be a bed room. There was nothing but windows and sunlight trying to break up this gray murky stone room.

“Ugh, this watery vision of mine is going to bother me,” I say as I approach the middle window. As I look out the window, I could see the Kingdom of Lunastar and all its civilians standing inside the courtyard.

“Huh? Why are the castle‘s gates open? Does this mean I am-“

“Yuuto.”

The voice of young woman calls out behind me. That voice, that sweet and gentle voice. I would recognize it anywhere, even in this dream. I turn around. There before me is Abril with a bundle of white blankets in her arms. She smiles at me, and then looks down at the bundle.

“Abril! What are you doing here?”

I pause for a bit to see what she was looking at. In the bundle, there is a small infant of tan skin and straight dark brown hair with a yellow flower hair band around her crown. Although it was not clear if the infant is a girl or a boy, I something told me it’s a girl. The girl opens her eyes and reveals her stunning lavender eyes.

She looks up at me, “She’s lovely, isn’t she?”

I am speechless as she hands me the infant.

“She looks just like you. She has your eyes.”

I cradle her in my arms and stare. Her features are striking. She looks just like me. Her eyes, her noise, her face, all look like mine. My murky vision clears up with her in my presence.

Out in the court yard I hear, “All hail King Lunar!”

“All hail King Lunar! All hail King Lunar,” they chant.

I look out the window smile. Once I look away from my child, my vision worsens. However, it doesn’t ruin my mood.

“I-I am king?”

“Yes you are.”

There is another female voice behind me. I turn around and there is Sora and Kenta.

“Sora,” I say when I look at her. I am excited to see her, but there is something weird about her character. Her body is completely covered in a red hue. My vision is becoming runnier and the colors are swirling together as I look at her. Her face seems older and solemn, but she continues to smile at me.

“I’m so proud of you,” she says. Then there is a faint chime of the clock tower in central. The chime was different, it was slow. As if it was accenting the fact that it was three o’clock.

Looking at her made my head hurt. Not only is a headache forming, I am overwhelmed with sadness. I look away from her and look at Kenta. He too is covered in a hue, but this time it’s green.

“Kenta?”

He said nothing to me. He looked down at the stone floor. Suddenly, there is a sharp pain in my lower.

“I’m sorry,” he mutters and my vision becomes burry with all the colors swirling into a disgusting gray color. I close my eyes and my headache worsens. The infant in my arms begins to scream. At the same time, the pain in my mark amplifies to the point where I want to scream too. I shift my child until my left arm so I can have a free hand. I placed my right hand on my lower black.

“Yuuto are you okay,” asks Abril.

“My back,” I scream. There is a sharp knife in my and I can feel thick, hot blood dripping down my back.

“Argh!” I fall to the ground.

The citizens, who were chanting “All hail King Yuuto” this whole time were now chanting, “Long live King Yuuto! Long live King Yuuto! All hail the new king! All hail the new king!”

“I’m proud of you, Yuuto,” Sora repeats.

“I’m sorry,” Kenta repeats.

“Why… what do you mean? What does this mean? Why are you sorry Kenta,” I struggle to ask.

“I wish this didn’t have to happen. I wish I could go back and change everything,” he says.

The smell of crimson copper occupied my nose. I bring my bloody hand up to my throbbing head. There is a bitter taste in my mouth as I become overwhelmed with the noise in the castle.  Sounds of my daughter screaming, the crowd chanting, the clock tower chiming and Sora and Kenta repeating the same words over and over again flooded my ears. I open my eyes one last time, and all I can see is watercolors and my flower child.

“Why,” I groan. “Why… is this happening to me?”
