Crystals POV
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the sound of someone else's breathing. Then my eyes came into focus and I looked down and saw Gavin sitting on a chair holding my hand. I thought that was really sweet of him.
I tried to move off the bed but Gavin must have noticed because I was back on there. I groaned.
"Gavin! Let me off this bed I'm fine now!"
"Are you sure Crystal? Like, really sure?"
He voice took on a certain tone and it souned extremely sexy coming from him.
"Yes. I am sure."
"Ok, why didn't you shift? To protect your self?"
I frowned. I couldn't feel my wolf at all. Something was wrong.
"I don't know. But-"
Suddenly my wolf came back to me. She had to reassure me that every thing was ok. And I belived her. Because who wouldn't trust their wolf?
"Hey you ok?"
Gavin leaned down. And jus them the doctor walked in.
"Good news Crystal, you can go now but you will have to stay out of school for a few days."
"Yes!"
Gavin and Stella looked at me.
"Oops I mean, aw why not?"
Gavin chuckled.
"Well that is very traumatic and considering that you were nearly suffocated to death I though you would like to rest. Is that right?"
"Yes it is. Thank you."

(A few days later)
Crystals POV
After the pack found out that I was Gavin's mate they were all really excited about me. I still sat with Sam, but Gavin altered his schedule to match mine except for study hall.
He didn't do study hall. He sat on one side of me while Sam sat on my other side. The first day back really fun. When it was lunch time we all sat with Gavin's friends. And of course their mates if they had any. When the doors opened and the new guy walked in al of us took deep breathes but, we couldn't tell if he was human or not. Which is really bad. He got his food and sat down with a bunch of guys that went to our school but are from a different pack. The bell rang saying that lunch was over. Gavin kissed me and said,
"See you 6 period babe."
"See ya."
I smiled at him and he gave me one of his gut wrenching smiles.
When Sam and I walked in to the library together we sat at our usual spot and got out our phones, but this time we made sure the teacher wouldn't take away from us.
Sam: was it just me or did that new kid not have any smell
Me: I know wat u mean I'm pretty sure all of us noticed
Sam: please tell me he isn't going to sit bye us!
Me: ok then I won't
"Hey my name is Chris what's yours"
I stared at him. He was sitting by my side. Way to close to me to be comfortable.
"Um, we have to talk quietly or we will get into trouble. But my name is Crystal and this is Sam."
Sam glared at him. I stared at her.
"Hey! Sam, Crystal, and Chris! Stop talking or I will be forced to separate you 3!"
Sam smirked.
"So Chris what are you doing after school?"
She asked him with fake sincerity.
"I-"
"Ok! Sam, Chris move to separate tables now!"
Me: u just had to do that didn't u
Sam: duh I was gettin really bad vibes from him I think he is up to something
Me:great
Sam: uh uh uh no sarcasm but seriously I think he is in our rival pack that goes here I smelled a lot of them on him
Me: oh that is why I didn't recognize the scents on him but they didn't smell rogue so I was trying to be nice cause I don't want to start a war between to packs
Suddenly a ball of paper hit my arm and landed on the ground. I looked around and picked it up it said:
Crystal
I need to speak with you right after classic is urgent
Chris
Sam: Crystal
Sam: Crystal
Sam: Crystal!!!
Me: what
Sam: what was in that letter
Me: how did you know it was a letter
Sam: I didn't you just told me it was
Me: oops
Sam: yeah oops
Me: oh well he asked me to talk to him.
Sam: oh ok
Suddenly the bell rang. Chris walked up to me
"What did you want to talk to me about?"
Chris looked around.
"Not here"
"Ok-"
He abruptly pulled me into an empty room. He had his back facing me.
Then he turned around and the first thing I noticed was his eyes. They were turning pitch black. Then they were fully black. I knew then that Chris was gone and his wolf was in control.
"W-what did you want to talk about again?"
He started walking forward and then I started walking back ward. Then my back hit the wall. He walked up to me and was so close we were almost breathing the same air his hand came up and brushed my hair away from my neck. I shivered. But not in the good way. He leaned in and I turned my face away and then he smelled my neck. Wait? He smelled me? Gavin was going to be beyond mad. I mind linked Sam instantly.
'Come save me!!'
'What's wrong?'
'Chris is smelling me and his wolf has taken over!!'
'I'm coming do you want me to bring Gavin?'
'Are you crazy!?! He is an alpha!!'
'Point taken'
Sam walked in and shut the door behind her then she noticed me pressed up against the wall
"Hey douche bag! Leave my friend alone!"
Sam got on between me and Chris but not before saying to me,
"You are Mine."
