14 ~ Corbyn

We were all dragged by a camp counselor back to the main office. Lilith and I were put in one office and Dick and Izzy in another. We were left alone in the room. Neither of us dared to talk lest we get in deeper shit than I'm sure we are already in. After almost an hour, all the counselors came into he room and arranged themselves on t he opposite side of the desk. Chuck was the first to speak, "What the fuck!"

"What the hell did we do?!" Lilith exclaimed. "You know perfectly well what you did." "No we don't. Can you please explain to us what we did?" "You both sexually assaulted those two perfectly nice people in the other room." "Are you shitting me right now!" Lilith said, rage in her voice. "Lilith,  please watch your language." "Can it Kasey. We didn't do anything to them. Yhey came onto us." "Look, we just have to ask you some questions before we take more action." "Hell no!" I said. "We plead the fifth." "You can't do that right now." "Um, yeah I fucking do. I have the right to a lawyer, even if you aren't the police. I'm not talking until I get a lawyer present." "Don't you think that's a bit extreme?" Lilith said nothing. "Ms. Shane." Nothing. "Fine, someone get on the phone with her parents to get her some legal representation." "Actually, her mom is in an other country and her Dad lives in Dallas so they are unreachable at this time." "For fucks sake." 

"There, we got you a damn lawyer. Now will you please get to talking?" "Sure, I was minding my own business, waiting for Corbyn, when Dick showed up and basically said he was gonna fuck me if I wanted or not." "That's not what Mr. Reid just said He said that you dragged him away from his friends and took him to a secret spot and demanded sexual favors from him or you were going to harm him." "Bullshit!" I finally exclaimed. "And don't get me started on you Mr. Besson. You knock poor sweet Ms. Reid out and then tied her up." "Who told you that lie?" "Mr. Reid. Ms. Reid was too traumatized to speak." "Oh come on. She's the one that told you what was going on." "Yes, but she told us what you wanted her to tell us according to Mr. Reid." "Oh for fucks sake Chuck!" Lilith exclaimed. "This is such bullshit! We did one thing wrong one time and now everything bad that happens is our fault. Look, I can tell you the truth and the entire truth. So long as you don't interrupt me. And then, at the end, I will give you a piece of information that might help get us out of this whole thing while creating a whole new problem. I know none of that made since so just shut up and let me talk."

She told him everything starting form that morning on. She talked for almost an hour, sparing no details of her day. Finally she reached the point where the counselors showed up. "And now we are here. Now, I am about to create a whole new problem and I'm sorry that that is the why I am gonna have to get out of this be here it goes. When Dick and I were together, her told me about his stash." "Is that supposed to be a metaphor?" "No. I mean, he showed me his stash of weed." "I thought it was legalized?" Chuck said. "Yeah if he grows it himself. He can't be buying it off of somebody." Ms. Jenifer said, she was me and Corbyn's legal counsel. "Oh, he told me about that part. He is buying if off his friend who gets it from his stepdad who smuggles it in from Canada." "I don't believe you." Chuck said. "I don't know Chuck." Kody said. "I think she might be right. His eyes always seem to have a red tint to them." "Fine, we'll go check. Where does he keep it?" "It's only in a place that him and I know." "Fine, I guess we are all gonna take a little field trip."

Chuck moved pretty quickly and the rest of us trudged behind. "Hey, Izzy, I just wanna say thanks for telling someone about what was going on. I kept tying to escape him but he was just inescapable." "Yeah Izzy, seriously, we owe you one." I said putting my arm around Lilith. "Well actually, the only thing I want is to be friends with you again Lilith." I took my arm off of her and speed up a little bit. i tried to listen closely to their conversation. "i might have acted out a little bit when you and Jonah started dating. I really liked him and I was really jealous of you guys. And then to see how united you two became after having Star just fueled my jealousy. I acted like a total bitch and I felt bad for feeling no remorse fro it. I realized how much of a bitch I was but I just didn't know how to act around you and there was never a time to tell you I was sorry. And then you and Corbyn got together it just made me think about all the things with you and Jonah. I know I'm probably making no since at all but I just want to get past everything that happened between us in the past and be friends again." I waited to hear Lilith's response. "Thank's Izzy. That means a lot. I'm not sure I'm ready to be best friends again but I think starting out as regular friends is a great idea." I smiled. Lilith sped up and joined me. "Sounds like things are getting better." We stopped as we reached the cabin, "Yeah, but it's about to get a whole lot worse."

Tonight was monthly movie night so the cabin was locked and empty. Ms. Kasey had stayed behind with Dick while the rest of us went to the cabin. Chuck unlocked the door and let Lilith in first and the rest of us followed. "Okay Ms Shane, show us where this quote stash is." Lilith walked in and looked around for a few minutes "I thought you said you knew where it was." Chuck said sarcastically. "I do. I just haven't ever been in here before and I have to try to remember where he told me it was. So if you could please shut the fuck up and let me think." Lilith walked around the cabin a few times. She always kept going back into me and Jack's room. "Look Ms. Shane-" "Lilith." She cut him off. "Lilith, are you sure he wasn't lying to you?" "No, I'm sure he wasn't. There's just one part that's missing." "What is it? Maybe I could help." I said stepping into the room. "Okay yeah. So, he told me it was under the floor board. but he didn't give any specifics."  A light bulb went off in my head. "I know what hes talking about."

Everyone filed behind me into me and Jack's room I noticed on the first day at camp that there was one floor board that was a different color than the rest of them. It was really creaky when we stepped on it the first day but it stopped afterward. "Okay, it's this one." I said pointing to the oddly colored wood. Lilith knelt down next to it and I sat beside her. "Do you wanna do it? Or should I?" "Let's do it together." She said. "Okay. On three. One. Two," "Three." We said together pulling back the floor board. Everyone's jaw dropped.
