Sitting lonely in the orphanage was always the highlight of my mornings. The orphanage mother would take the other kids out in the morning so that I could relax. I hate those kids. Not like I really care about any of them. Except for my little brother. He really isn't related to me, but we do get along and also fight like we are siblings. We also made a promise that if we were to get adopted, whoever it was had to adopt us both. I feel bad for him. He was almost adopted about 7 times, but he told every couple that they had to adopted me; which no one wants to adopt a 16 year old girl.

I got up and walked around the quiet building. Quiet, I say, but I was blasting Of Mice & Men through my headphones. I went down and saw a plate of food. Tina always knows how to feed me. I sat at the table and began eating. I moved my hair out of my eyes. My piercing blue eyes gently closed as I enjoyed the delicious food.

I was soon disrupted by a knock on the door. Sighing, I stood and walked to the door. I opened it , and there stood a tall, slim man. He smiled gently as I opened the door.

"Is Tina Lexington here?" He asked. Who wants anything to do with that evil bitch? I simply shook my head no.

"She went to the park with the other kids. What did you need?" I stepped to the side as the man step into the house. Morning.... Ruined... Who the fuck said that it's okay for you to come in? Not me, that is.

"I was just wanting to let you know that we are having a famous singer come in to have a little talk with the kids tomorrow. Publicity reasons." I rolled my eyes at his words. Bullshit! No one cares. Everyone comes to take pictures with kids from orphanages. The singer can go fuck off. I somehow managed to keep a smile on my face.

"Okay. I'll let Tina know when she gets back." I placed a hand on the man's back and gently nudged him out the door. "Thanks and see you tomorrow." I closed the door and sighed. I walked back to the kitchen and continued eating. Fuck him. He should go give his pity to some other orphanage. I don't give a shit who the singer is. Publicity is a load of bullshit.
