Where's my heart?

Alyss's Pov

"ALYSS!!" They screamed.

I looked at them. The Akatsuki. What the hell am I doing here?!

"I could've sworn I was in the hospital...." I muttered.

"But you fucking died!" screamed Hidan.

"Yeah!" They agreed.

"Who said I died?" I asked them.

"We saw the heart monitor" Said the emotionless Itachi.

"Oh....Its probably broken" I laughed nervously.

They all looked at me suspiciously but Tobi is the first one to break it.

"TOBI MISSED YOU!" he said as he tackled me onto my bed.

He's hugging me tight and the rest joined too.

Then we went to the living room to talk. Tobi held my hand the whole time. So glad I have bandages around me or they would see it.

We sat on the couch. Tobi to my right and Itachi to my left. The rest are across from me.

Pain broke the silence. "We saw you dead. And I know the heart monitor is not broken. It looks new." he said as he stared at me.

I gulped. "I don't know"

Itachi's Pov

"I don't know" she said.

I looked at her. Liar. We all know that she's lying.

"Why won't you tell us?" I asked her.

She hung her head low. "I don't know.." she whispered.

The way she said it held so much emotion. Sadness. Confused. Hatred. Same as me.

I patted her head.

"Anyway, WHERE WERE YOU?" yelled Deidara and Sasori.

Alyss chuckled. "A village called Konoha"

I froze. I wonder if he met Sasuke.

"How'd you get in there?" Asked Kisame.

"Well, Kakashi Hatake found me outside Konoha and took me to the Hokage and made me join the academy and become a ninja."

I stared at her. Kakashi Hatake?

"Oh! and I live with him" she nodded.

"WHAT?!" we all screamed.

"He didn't do anything to you did he?" Kakuzu said to Alyss.

Alyss shook her head. "Now I feel bad, he thinks I'm dead"

I chuckled.

"TOBI THINKS ALYSS-CHAN SHOULD REST" Tobi yelled as he dragged Alyss to her bedroom. Alyss just waved at us.

I looked at Pain. "She's alive."

I nodded my head. But how?

Tobi/Madara/Obito Pov

I opened Alyss's room and quickly closed it. Then I pulled her into a hug.

"Tobi? Are you okay?" she asked.

I nodded my head. "I thought I lost you." I whispered as I hugged her tighter.

"I don't die that easily." she chuckled.

Then I pulled from our hug and stared at her. I reached up to her face and pull down her mask to see her face. She didn't seem to mind. Then I pulled out her eyepatch and tucked her hair behind her ear. Bandages covered her left eye and I unwrapped it and dropped it to the ground.

Alyss blinked. Her now beautiful face stared at me as I stared back.

"Why dud you take it off?" she asked. Her voice melodic.

"I want to see your pretty face." I said kneel in front of her. She is a little taller since, I'm kneeling.

Then I hugged her again. I burrowed my head into her chest. She smell like roses.

Then I noticed something. I don't feel her heartbeat. I tried to search for it but its just not there.

I stood up and stare at her. Where's her heart?

Then I quickly pulled Alyss wrist to the living room totally forgetting about her mask and eyepatch.

When we got to the living room, everyone's face flushed. Besides Konan since she's a girl, she just sqealed.

Alyss then sent them a warm smile which caused the guys to turn more red. Of course, I'm red too but my mask is hiding it.

Itachi just tried to look away but I could still a slight pink on his face.

I then put up my Tobi act. "TOBI COULDN'T FIND ALYSS-CHAN'S HEARTBEAT LIKE SHE HAS NO HEART AT ALL! " I screamed as I ran around Nagato.

Everyone just stared at Alyss like she grew five heads.

Nagato immediately knew that this is important. "Konan" He said.

Konan walked up to Alyss and put her hand over her heart. Her eyebrows furrowed.

"No heartbeat.." she said.

"What do you mean?" Itachi asked as he looked at Alyss.

"Its like there's no heart." Konan said as she stared at Alyss who just stared at her feet.

Pain walked up to her and squatted in front of her, so they're now eye to eye level.

"Do you have a heart?" he asked softly.

This shocked everyone in the Akatsuki. But me. They never seen Pain act all nice before.

Then few drops fell from Alyss's face. She's crying. We all felt pity over the little girl. She then put her hand on her face still looking down. Then a small sob is heard from her.

Alyss shook her head. "I-I have no h-heart...." she said.

We stared at the girl in front of us. Shocked.

No heart?

"What the fuck does that mean?" Hidan cursed.

Kakuzu bonked him on the head.

"She has no heart like me but she's alive" Sasori said.

"But she's not a puppet, un." Deidara said.

"She's not but I don't know how she lives without an actual heart" said Sasori as he stared at Alyss with curiosity.

Pain then hugged Alyss who cried in his cloak.

"Then where did your heart go?" I asked in my normal voice. Thank god the rest didn't notice.

Alyss looked up at me with teary eyes.

"Someone plunge their hand onto my chest and pulled it out."

We gasped.
