Her past

*FLASHBACK*

"Alyss!" I heard my name him calling out my name from the distance

I ignored him and hugged my knees to my chest as I cried.

"Alyss" I heard it again but this time in front of me.

"Go away" my voice cracked as I spoke.

"No, I won't go away" he said as I felt him sit down next to me.

We remained silent as my tears stopped from flowing and I looked up. My face is still hidden as I stared out in the horizon.

"Why were you crying?" he asked me as he stared at my covered face.

I shook my head. "Don't worry about. I'm fine." I said.

He stood up and faced me.

"DAMN IT! I KNOW YOU'RE NOT FINE! JUST QUIT LYING TO ME ALWAYS SAYING THAT YOU'RE FINE EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT!" he yelled at me.

"Just stop....please....." he whispered.

I looked at him shocked by his outburst as I felt tears threatened to spill.

"I'm sorry... sorry.."

"No, I'm sorry for yelling at you. " he said as he run his hand through his blonde hair.

I shook my head and hugged my knees again. "Arigatou.." I whispered.

He looked down at me with a confused expression "For what?"

I looked up at him. "For always there with me even though I ignored you and for being you" I said with a soft voice.

He looked shock for a moment but replaced it with a grin. "You're welcome."

I couldn't help but smile under the cloth.

"Hey," he scratched his head and blushed. "Umm...can you take off that cloth around your face, I haven't seen your face yet"

I frowned.

"I mean, you don't have to or anything" he spoke fast as he tried to hide his red face.

I nodded. "But please, don't like me or hate me for what I look like" I told him as I looked at the green grass.

Haru looked at me with a sad smile. "Its okay, I'm not that type of a person. Plus I already know your beautiful . I can tell because you already have beautiful heart"

I stared at him. Astonished. My hand found its way down to my black mask as I pulled it down revealing my soft pink lips and nose.

I heard him gasp.

I took of my right eyepatch and the bandage around my left eye.

My right eye, the one with an eyepatch, showed neon green eyes and a black X as her iris.

My left eye showed a purple eye with all the shades you can think of. Circles were moving around it and her iris is pure crimson red.

I looked up at him. His face didn't held lust like the others did but held kindness. That I couldn't help but smile a little.

He walked up closer to me and knelt down in front of my face. "See, I knew you were beautiful from the start" he whispered as he caressed my cheek.

I blinked and looked at him straight in his green eyes. "You're not scared by my eyes?" I whispered.

Haru shook his head and let out a small smile. "I think they look cool"

I smiled.

He looked shock for a moment and turned pink for a second. "You should smile more"

"Hai, nii-san" I whispered.

He frowned. "Can you not call me nii-san, please?"

"Why not?"

"It feels different." he said as he looked at me with an expression I couldn't read.

I tilted my head in confusion.

Haru chuckled. "You're so clueless"

Now I'm more confused.

"HEY!" we heard a voice said.

We both turned around and saw, Akio, his twin. When he saw me he stopped in his tracks and turned red. "Alyss?" he looked shocked.

I nodded slowly.

"I knew you were beautiful from the start". Akio said to me with a smile. Haru said the same thing.

I smiled back. "Arigatou"

I noticed that Haru looked at Akio with a serious look but I ignored it. Its their problem not mine.

*MONTHS LATER*

"Akio! Haru!" I ran to the house to show the jutsu I made up.

I kept on running with a grin on my face but it dropped as I stopped in my tracks. The house. Dead bodies lied around everywhere and I notice who they are.

Neighbors and my adopted family.

They were all bloodied and some has kunais stuck in their bodies.

My body shook as I looked around the place. Blood was everywhere.

"Haru? Akio?" My voice barely a whisper.

I hid my chakra fully and slowly walked toward the house. Muffled voices were heard as I get closer.

When I finally get into the front door, I could see blood seeping under the door. Gulping, I slowly slid the door and looked up.

My breath stopped for a moment. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I stared at the two people I love. Dripping bloody katana both in their hands.Their eyes held many different emotions such as pain and sadness. They stood still and looked at me.

"Alyss..." They said in a unison.

*End of flashback*
