~Your Pov~

A month had passed since you and Dice had discovered your pregnancy, and nothing else had happened since then. The Devil was still unaware. He never asked about that night, and continued to shower you with love and affection. It was difficult pretending like you weren't pregnant around him. You were constantly expecting him to feel your stomach with his hands, and ask how his baby is. But he didn't know about it, so he did nothing of the sorts.

Today, while you were serving someone a drink, a big wave of cramps hit you. You nearly doubled over in pain, but pushed through it with probably the most confusing face ever as you finished the patron's drink. You handed it to them, and then collapsed, groaning in pain. The patron looked over the bar at you on the ground, worriedly asking if you were okay. You nodded, and asked them to bring King Dice over to you. They nodded and dashed off. You lied there, clutching your stomach and taking deep breaths. Dice came behind the counter and knelt down beside you. "What's going on?" He asked. He leaned down close and whispered so no one would hear, "Do you think it's coming?" You shook your head. "No, it's just cramps." you said. "I just need some pain medicine." Dice nodded and ran to the back to get your medicine.

After you discovered your pregnancy, you did some research on what would happen during the time you were pregnant. You researched you would get morning sickness, which would cause you to throw up in the mornings, you would get random bursts of cramps, like you were having now, and you would get cravings for the strangest things. You didn't know if all of these would correlate with you since you were pregnant with the Devil's spawn. It might be completely different, but you still tried to prepare yourself as much as you could.

Dice returned with your medicine, and helped you take it. He helped you stand, and guided you to the break room. He sat you down on one of the chairs, and got you a glass of water. "I'll have Pip and Dot take your shift until you're feeling better, okay?" He said, stepping towards the door. "I'll be back out in ten minutes." you said. "Don't stress them." "We still need someone at the bar, and no, you're not able to stand yet." he said. "If it's just for ten minutes, then don't worry about them." You rolled your eyes and leaned back in your chair. "Fine." you groaned, crossing your arms. He chuckled, and left you in peace.

You sat there, focusing on your breathing for about five minutes, then you heard the door open. You looked to see it was the Devil. You smiled as he saw you. "Hey, honey." he said, coming up and placing a kiss on your forehead. "Dice told me you had another dizzy spell. You feeling okay?" You nodded and nuzzled into his chest as he sat down beside you. "Yes, sweetie." you said. "I guess I just moved too fast." "A lot has been happening to you this past week." he said, making you raise your brows. "How so?" You asked, feeling slightly worried. "You've been throwing up in the mornings a lot, having these dizzy spells, and waking up in the middle of the night a lot." You looked down, remembering those nightmares that woke you up. You would have never ending  nightmares of your brother's wedding, and how his mother tried to kill you. You knew how it happened. She was sucked down into hell, and your brother lived happily ever after with his new wife. But in your nightmares, they changed everything. They showed your mother stabbing you in the stomach, and forcing you to watch your brother get shot in the head, and his wife getting her throat slit. When that was finished, she raised the knife, and stabbed you right between the eyes. You would wake up right after she stabbed you each time, and you were always a sweating, heaving mess. It was so difficult to sleep each night because of that nightmare, but you forced yourself to pull through with it for your baby.

"(Y/n)! Are you okay?!" The Devil's frantic voice pulled you out of your thoughts. You looked up at him, and realized your cheeks felt wet. You felt your cheeks with your hands, and realized you had been crying. 'Oops.' you thought. "S-sorry, Devil." you said, wiping the tears away. "I guess I let my mind wander for a second." "What were you thinking about that made you cry?" He asked, worry plastered on his face. "I-I... I was thinking about my parents." you lied. "Just how much I wish I could have gotten to know them." You didn't want him to worry about your nightmares. He already has enough on his plate with having to run the casino and collect souls. "Oh, honey." he said, hugging you. "I'm sure they loved you with all their heart. If you were my child, I know I would." You blushed at that statement, but chuckled. "Thanks, sweetheart." you said, hugging him.
