Lando didn't believe in soulmates, yet when he locked eyes with her, the shivers ran up his spine, his skin began to tingle and his eyes sparkled, his heart rapidly beating against his ribcage. Whenever she touched him, his mind started spinning, his knees began to get weak and his cheeks heated up like the sheen red of an amaranth. Fiorenza was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen and the fact that she wanted to spend time with him, was a miracle for him to believe. He remembered the first time they met clearly, a smile on his lips each time he thought about it. "Fiorenza? Like the city?". He had said. She had giggled, a sound so bright he needed a few seconds to come back down from heaven to the ground. "That's Firenze, Lando". His head had turned into a tomato in shame, an apology tumbling over his lips in a great rush.
Fiorenza had been so amused by the youngman. They had seen each other more often, said hi and that was about it. Today, in Budapest, Lando had stepped up to her to introduce himself. When she asked how he was, starting a decent conversation, he turned shy, stammering something in response. He had asked her out during the summerbreak and they shared a nice evening in London in a restaurant. Lando learned that she was just as inexperienced with relationships, getting intimate and men as he was with women. It made him calm down a bit, that she didn't have any expectations from him and so the other way around. Fiorenza and Lando fitted like two puzzle pieces together. What they had was pure, never ending, ethereal and amaranthine.
There's a first time for everything. And they are going to explore it together.
