Lando rarely went out to party, even when Carlos asked him or his friends. But Fiorenza had looked at him in such an excited way when she heard that they were invited for the Amber Lounge after party, that he couldn't manage to say no to her question if they were going or not. Alex had told her all about it and she had managed that she liked the Amber Lounge parties a lot. Fiorenza didn't go out much either, every now and then she had some drinks with her friends in London, but going clubbing was something she seldom did. Fiorenza looked forward to it, but Lando had eyed her sceptically when she mentioned the party and she hoped he'd have fun once they were there. He was in front of the mirror that hung on the wall in the hotel room and adjust his hair, styling it with some wax while he glanced at himself in the mirror to check his appearance. Lando was dressed in a pink-ish button up, with a white shirt underneath it.
He wore lighter jeans for once and a pair of sneakers. He could look worse, he guessed. Fiorenza was still in the bathroom and he guessed she was doing her makeup. Lando was curious to see what she looked like. They barely went to fancy events where she had to dress up a lot, he can't even think of a moment where he had seen her in a dress. Lando sat down in the seat next to the table and waited for her to come out. His eyes widened as she opened the bathroom door and stepped forward. Her dress was black and sparkly, hugging her curvy body and accentuating how long her legs were. She balanced effortlessly on the stiletto heels on her feet, high-heeled sandals. "I'm... Wow. I don't know what to say". Lando stammered as he stood up, his cheeks bright red as his hand awkwardly reached to his neck. He nearly wanted to say she should go without him, he wouldn't look worthy enough to be with her this way. "You looks so handsome, Lando". Fiorenza ignored his flusteredness about her appearance and made her steps towards him.
"Oh my god". Lando sighed, regaining his senses as he came out of his frozen position, standing up and letting his hands move to her waist. "You look so breathtakingly beautiful". He said, not daring to lean forward and kiss her lips, afraid he'd mess up her makeup. He looked sideways into the mirror, seeing her looking at him only. "Look at you". Lando muttered, his hand trailing down her spine to her hip. "Look at us". Fiorenza corrected him with a smile. "Shall we get going?". She asked and he nodded. She reached for the small shoulder bag she would carry with her and Lando took the keycard of the hotel room before they walked out. His hand drifted down to her lower back, not wanting to let go of her. They got into the elevator and then downstairs. McLaren had arranged the transfer to the event and they were guided to a luxe car that would take them there. Lando sat down next to her in the backseat, his hand moving to rest on her thighs during the ride and she smiled at him, kissing his cheek before looking out of the window again. The lights were already flickering in the club, almost moving along to the beat of the music.
Lando took her hand in his when they got out, taking her with him to the entrance and their names were checked there. "Let's go look for some familiar faces". Lando breathed in her ear and she nodded, holding onto his fingers as he moved them through the dancing people. Fiorenza knew Alex wouldn't be here, F2 didn't race Singapore, so she was already on a flight back to her Jack. Perhaps some other couples of the grid would be here. Lando spotted Max soon enough, speaking with some of his friends while having a beer between his fingers. "Hey, Lando". The taller driver spoke as soon as he same him. "Fiorenza". Max smiled, glancing down at the two. "Hi!". Dilara peaked from around him, the petite German smiling also at the couple. "I'll get us something to drink". Lando muttered in her ear and she nodded. He didn't drink, but he knew what Fiorenza would like to have. Fiorenza stayed with Max and Dilara while Lando got to the bar.
"Don't you have to be at school?". Fiorenza teased Dilara and the other girl scoffed with a giggle. "I have permission to skip classes". Dilara winked. "No, I'm off for the semester as I'm doing my internship online". She explained, sipping on her drink meanwhile. "I see". Fiorenza nodded. "So, you got him to come?". Dilara asked as she looked at Lando who came back to them. "I did". She laughed. "All I had to do was ask". She replied. Fiorenza took the cocktail glass out of his hand and smiled at her boyfriend, feeling his arm curling around her waist again. Lando leaned his head towards her to place a soft kiss just under her ear. Fiorenza put the straw of her drink between her lips, enjoying having him this close. She swayed to the music a bit and he felt her body bumpiny into his every now and then. "Don't you wanna dance?". Fiorenza asked, her glass already half way down and he chuckled at her rosy cheeks. She didn't plan on getting drunk, but she felt a bit more bubbly because of the alcohol.
