In case you're a newer fan of Stellae, there might be some drama you haven't heard about yet.

Stellae has been swept up in a lot of good press lately, with her new album and her relationship with Brie Larson. Fans from all places seem to love her, and she's on top of the world. But even the top have their problems, and in the past few days, Stellae has been facing some drama over the subject matter of one of her songs.

The song Shake The Devil's Hand, which still currently sits at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, is a very direct callout song that doesn't hold back in the severity of its lyrics. The chorus says it all, with "You can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding; So let's not play dumb and try to kid me; You dug a grave made just to fit me; But then you fell in, and isn't that just fitting?". The lyrics hit hard, but they're decidingly vague with who they're about. Stellae has never outright said who the song is about, but many fans and even a certain hater seem to think they already know.

Emma Hardly, known by the online psued of EmmaEmeralds, is a bit of a big name around some parts of the internet. She started out as a typical shitpost blogger on Tumblr, but spread her wings and has tens of thousands of followers across several platforms. She even has her own merch and has been acknowledged by some celebrities. Long-time fans of Stellae know that she was actually once friends with EmmaEmeralds, and when her first album was released, EmmaEmeralds got Stellae some of her first views through exposure.

However, when Stellae got more famous and her songs began to hit the charts, EmmaEmeralds began acting entitled to Stellae's success, even making the claim that Stellae wouldn't have made it big without Emma's help. Though Stellae never made a public statement about the claims, she did distance herself from EmmaEmeralds and Emma has been bitter with vaguely hateful posts ever since.

Stellae even used to take Emma to some events she performed at, but it seems as though Emma's entitlement pushed her away. 

With how severe the lyrics of Shake The Devil's Hand are, it's being heavily speculated that the rift between the two's friendship goes a lot deeper than what was made public. Stellae seems to be trying hard to sweep things under the rug, but recent posts and comments from EmmaEmeralds continue to drag the drama on.
